We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Contract Administrator who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Based out of our Pittsburgh program office, you will report directly to the Program Manager and will work alongside other Client project managers and internal stakeholders.

The Contracts Administrator oversees the prime or sales contracts between Jacobs and our client for various projects within the overall program.

You will assist in all phases of the contract life cycle from proposal support, negotiation, and management and execution through close out while working in conjunction with Sales, Operations, Risk Management and Legal. You will ensure compliance with government regulations, statutes, and Client procedures and requirements. The Contract Administrator role requires the ability to manage a variety contract types and to evaluate each for risk, redline for changes and negotiate such changes in a professional and team oriented manner.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience in a related field such as construction, architecture, or engineering

  • At minimum of 5 years of experience in prime contract administration

  • Must have extensive knowledge of the foundation of basic contract management knowledge and skills required for success in the contract administration field

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

  • A background and/or experience in the legal field is a plus

  • Experience with local and state government contracting terms and procedures desired

  • Prior experience with an engineering firm is desired

  • Experience with Construction /Program Management services contracts a plus

  • Change order/Claims negotiation/management experience a plus

  • Proposal development support a plus
