This intermediate administrator coordinates the contract and legal activities not requiring a law degree. Focusing primarily on contract administration, the work performed includes research, document preparation, and citation checking. At this career level, the incumbent generally works independently on moderately complex contract work or as a team member on larger projects. He or she may coach other contract administrators.

Acts as an advocate for children. Understands and advances Christ's mandate to protect children. Raises awareness of the needs of children and takes active steps to help protect against neglect, abuse, and exploitation of children. Promotes the dignity, respect, positive treatment, potential of children in all circumstances. Encourages the involvement of others in helping children in need. Reports and appropriately supports responses to incidents of harm of children if they occur.
Coordinates the development and fulfillment of contract requirements, including collaborating on negotiations and contract requirements meetings.
Gathers requirements specified in contracts for compliance and provides recommendations regarding contractual rights and obligations.
Provides insights to procurement staff and other employees on contracting policies and procedures.
Collaborates on the preparation, approval and revision of contracts, or amendments including those pertaining to a decedent's estates/trusts/insurance policies where Compassion is named as a beneficiary or, contract extensions ensuring that modifications are administered according to policy and practice.
Utilizes systems and processes to track all contracts in order to ensure that Compassion is in compliance with requirements and that the ministry receives the full benefit of contracts.
May provide expertise to other professionals and support staff in the legal and contracts disciplines.
