  • TS/SCI clearance (polygraph desired)

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of contract administration experience

  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR and acquisition planning

  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities within a team environment required

These are long-term contract positions supporting the federal government, and compensation ranges depending on experience and certifications. If you are interested, or if you would like more information, please contact Michael Mason at [ Link Removed ] Responsibilities of the Network Administrators: * Responsible for addressing the day to day refresh requirements * Port configurations * Upload IOS * Manage and maintain all drawings to include rack elevations * Communicate with customers * Create new VLANs * Assist with Requirements gathering * Perform basic routing * Rack and Stack equipment. * Perform cabling of Copper and fiber * Create Change Requests Required Experience of the Network Administrators: * Industry-related experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator * Solid background in network administration and architecture * In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF) * Knowledge and experience working with ASR -9k, Cisco Nexus and Cisco catalyst switches * Familiarity with access control models and network security * Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g. Python, Perl) * Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools) * Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS) * Sharp troubleshooting skills * Ability to work independently * Organizational and mentoring skills * Professional certification (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, CCDP) * Three years-experience as a minimum Education Requirements: * Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
