Summary A successful Contract Administrator will demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with the ability to discover potential risks for the company.
Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms Stay up-to date with legal changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed Communicates and consults with management on amending contracts and also on settlements.
Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met (e.g.
payments and shippings) Maintain organized system of physical and digital records Create language standards for existing and new contracts
Requirements Bachelors Degree in Business Administration; additional qualifications in law are a plus Proven work experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager or relevant role Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts 2+ years of experience in construction/manufacturing Negotiating terms and conditions of contracts is a must!
Experience working with a variety of different types of contracts Hands on experience with indemnity/liquidated damages Excellent writing skills Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors Strong analytical and organizational skills
