Job Summary: Charleston area construction company seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their team The Contract Administrator will be responsible for managing and administering contracts for various heavy civil construction projects using Procore, a leading construction management software.

This role involves building contract abstracts, verifying compliance with state laws, handling bond requests and Certificates of Insurance (COIs) with our parent companies, and marking up unfavorable credit applications. Must have 4-5 years’ experience in similar field. Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management: Review and administer contract terms with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers using Procore. Ensure all contracts are in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Contract Abstracts: Prepare detailed contract abstracts summarizing key terms, conditions, and obligations for easy reference by project teams. State Law Compliance:

Ensure all contracts adhere to applicable state laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in state laws affecting contract administration. Bond Requests:

Handle bond requests for company, coordinating with the parent companies to secure necessary bonds for projects. Certificates of Insurance (COIs): Manage and verify COIs, ensuring they meet project requirements and are up to date, in coordination with our parent companies. Documentation: Maintain organized records of all contract-related documents, including amendments, change orders, and correspondence, within Procore.

Compliance: Monitor contract compliance and performance, ensuring all parties adhere to agreed terms and conditions. Verify that all necessary insurance certificates and documents are in place and up to date. Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and issues in contracts, providing solutions to mitigate them. Credit Applications: Review and mark up credit applications, identifying and addressing any unfavorable terms or conditions.

Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless contract execution via Procore. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on contract status, performance, and compliance for senior management using Procore’s reporting tools. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and issues, facilitating clear and effective communication between all parties involved.
