Freese and Nichols seeking a Contract Administrator in Fort Worth, Texas. As Contract Administrator, you will prepare architecture and engineering (A/E) industry contracts and drive internal review process for contract documents using firm-developed application.

  • Ensuring compliance with terms and conditions of the contract and collaborating with authorized reviewers and signers to address comments and revisions prior to contract execution

  • E-filing and maintaining contract documents and relevant correspondence

  • Completing Form 1295s

  • Issuing Certificates of Insurance

  • Compiling and tracking Supplier Minority, Women, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (MWDBE) Certifications

Qualifications

  • High school degree

  • 3+ years' experience in contract administration

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel and Word

  • Skills to detect errors and inconsistencies to minimize contractual risks and corporate liability

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with vendors, clients, and employees throughout the organization to build long-distance, positive relationships

  • Critical-thinking skills, attention to detail, positivity, initiative, and the capability to work independently

Preferred

  • Experience in the Architecture and Engineering (A/E) industry

  • Experience in federal contract administration

  • Knowledge of the FAR

We prefer Contractors to be available to work a minimum of ten hours per week where work is available. <strong>Successful candidate must be willing to travel within a 35-50 mile radius from city location.  </strong><br />  <br /> <strong>Geographic Location:</strong> El Paso, TX<br />  <br />  <br /> <strong>Job Duties and Responsibilities:  </strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Conduct federal background investigations in compliance with all laws, and other required federal agency regulations.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Conduct in-person, one-on-one subject interviews to obtain factual information about the individual's background and character, in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Obtain factual information from a variety of personal and record sources to produce a report of investigation, containing all pertinent facts, of an individual's background and character, in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Travel throughout the geographic area of responsibility to conduct investigations at various places of employment, residence, and education institutions when cases become available.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Engage in dialogue on a regular basis with managers and representatives at contractor facilities, various U. S.
