The Contract Administrator is responsible for tracking Regional and National capital related projects as they relate to the need for contracts and contract administration. This includes, but is not limited to, writing contracts, writing contract change orders, managing contracts through the approval process, documenting changes and progress, organizing of files, communication of changes and reporting as needed. This position works with Construction Services team members, Regional Maintenance team members and Operations associates as needed to manage the process, organization and communication of projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Writing contracts for various types of capital and renovation projects based on information provided by Construction Services team members.

  • Tracking and reporting of contract timing, deliverables and schedules.

  • Following pre-established process for project and contract approvals.

  • Organizes files, approval and contracts.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to get required information for contracts, change orders, lien releases and warranties.

  • Enter contract information into Construction Management project tracking tool and maintain up-to-date records

  • Review project status information and ensure follow up is conducted in a timely manner

  • Review invoices for accuracy and submits to Regional Contact for cm fee invoicing

Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary. Our aspiration is to be the premier integrated solutions provider in helping to transform the Federal marketplace.</p><p>The GPS Enabling Areas team provides specialized support such as proposal pricing to Deloitte's internal business units by developing new products and services to sustain competitive advantage, while consistently improving our existing collection of systems, processes, and functions.</p><p>Work you'll do</p><p>As a Contracts Lead Administrator on our team, you will report to the Contracts Team Lead in support of new and existing business opportunities within the State, Local &amp; Higher Education Practice. The role of Lead Administartor will need to be able to work with minimal supervision in the execution of the following key responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Serve as a business advisor on all facets of contract activities and handle complex/strategic high value contractual matters that have a direct impact on Firm revenue generation and retention.</p></li><li><p>Execute a variety of assigned tasks with support from more senior team members.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate functional knowledge to effectively develop approaches to complete a variety of minimally defined Contracts tasks.</p></li><li><p>Support and participate in comprehensive review of client contracts and terms and conditions to identify, mitigate, and eliminate unusual risks, liabilities, and remedies in accordance with Corporate policies and sound business judgment.</p></li><li><p>Provide interpretation of contract terms and conditions, processes contract changes, and participates in internal and external (customer) communications on contract matters.</p></li><li><p>Draft contractual language for management and Office of General Counsel review and approval.</p></li><li><p>Review and support negotiation of a broad range of contracts and agreements, including Nondisclosure Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Engagement Letters, Professional Services Agreements, and Access Letters and State and Local Municipality Contracts.</p></li><li><p>Manage and monitor client deliverables, obligations, requirements, and service level agreements.</p></li><li><p>Manage, maintain, track and communicate the key issues and status of contracts portfolio relative to contract requirements.</p></li><li><p>Review and interpret RFP/RFQ documentation; identify and develop questions and assumptions based on the solicitation that impact Contract compliance and strategy.</p></li><li><p>Provide administrative support to the development, review, and negotiation of contracts, modifications, NDAs and subcontracts consistent with company policies. Responsible for generating system NDA/TA templates for contract and subcontract managers.</p></li><li><p>Develop, communicate, and execute contract and subcontracting strategies in coordination with other stakeholder teams.</p></li><li><p>Manage, mentor and review work products of junior Contracts personnel.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate an ability to effectively leverage team members, colleagues, and other resources to accomplish objectives,</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with other enabling areas to address complex contracts administration and proposal challenges.</p></li><li><p>Perform job-related duties as assigned.</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications Required:</p><ul><li><p>Minimum 2 years in professional service with a minimum of 5 years in one of the following disciplines (or combination thereof): professional services pricing, program control, financial analysis, market research, or consulting, focused on providing business strategies, competitive intelligence, or market research.</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 5 years' experience in the use of Microsoft Office Applications with a strong focus on Excel and PowerPoint for developing effective presentations.</p></li><li><p>Undergraduate degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business</p></li><li><p>Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines and solicitation requirements.</p></li><li><p>Excellent spoken, written communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.</p></li><li><p>Experience working in a fast-paced, deliverable centric team environment.</p></li><li><p>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications Preferred:</p><ul><li><p>At least 3 years of direct Contracts experience.</p></li><li><p>Possess a deep knowledge of commercial domestic contracting principles and demonstrate expert proficiency in managing all aspects of the contracts management and administration functions across multiple business units.</p></li><li><p>Understanding of the contract's life cycle as well as contract types, including fixed-price, cost and T&amp;M/FPLH.
