Position Description

As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Efficiently generate and oversee a substantial volume of sales contract documents utilizing a Contract Management System (CMS).

  • Skillfully compose, revise, and engage in negotiations related to contract documents.

  • Utilize predefined templates to craft agreements for distribution, product supply, and pricing.

  • Monitor the entire contract lifecycle, including renewals, termination dates, and critical contract milestones.

  • Offer recommendations and engage in negotiations to modify terms and conditions, effectively mitigating risks for the company.

  • Deliver regular contract status updates to internal teams.

  • Thoroughly review and refine contracts received from clients, overseeing the signature process.

  • Responsively address Requests for Proposal, Information, and Quotes (RFP/RFI/RFQ).

  • Evaluate the necessity for contract amendments and provide strategic guidance to key stakeholders.

  • Formulate, assess, and implement policies and procedures.

  • Develop, assess, and maintain departmental desk procedures.

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • More than two years of full-time experience in a contract administrator position or a related role.

  • Hands-on experience with a Contract Management System (CMS) or Contract Life-cycle Management (CLM) System.

  • Comprehensive understanding of standard contract terms and conditions, coupled with strong contract drafting, reviewing, and editing skills.

  • Capable of interpreting contract provisions and delivering concise summaries of contract terms.

  • Proven expertise in Adobe Acrobat.

  • Profound proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, including document properties, comparisons, and track changes.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Demonstrated strong critical thinking and analytical prowess.

  • Meticulous attention to detail.

  • Enthusiastic about fostering a team-player mindset in a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-evolving work environment.

  • Adept at prioritizing projects and daily tasks while maintaining flexibility.

  • Eager to learn and contribute innovative ideas for enhanced efficiency and creative problem-solving.

  • Exhibits a professional demeanor and demonstrates a consistent work ethic.

  • Self-motivated and proactive.

Preferred

The following skills and attributes are preferred:

  • Familiarity with the healthcare contracting landscape, including knowledge of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), or experience within the medical device industry.

  • Paralegal experience.

Benefits

The base compensation range for this role is $66560 - $85000 / year for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in Californiabased on the date of this job posting. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range compensation package during your hiring process.

Please understand that the compensation range may be modified in the future. Each amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation once such amount is earned and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, benefit or any other form of compensation may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.
