BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair has one (1) Full-time Contract Administrator Senior position available. This candidate will work closely with the Production Managers to make certain the terms of awarded contract is being followed by our customer as well as our program teams.

If selected our Candidate will Execute moderately complex contracts in accordance with FAR as well as company's policies and procedures. Reviews performance requirements in the contracts to assure compliance with its terms.

Negotiates with customer to resolve problems of contractual obligations and what actions should be taken to assure compliance. Evaluates contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extension. Negotiates contract changes and amendments with customer or vendors and also interfaces with company management to develop or review contracts for provided services, supplies equipment or other material to the customer.

Prepares and analyzes moderately complex price proposals, financial reports and other data to determine reasonableness of prices, solicitations, terms and conditions. Prepares cost proposals for changes, extensions, renewed options and similar features on existing contracts. Signs offer as person authorized to bind the offeror.

Performs sub contract agreement coordination function to ensure the back-up data for compliance with government or customer regulation is obtained for files. Monitors program deliverables, prepares and maintains cost projections and schedules deliverables. Prepares general correspondence such as letter of requests for no-cost extensions, rent free use of government property, submission of revised proposals and the like. Performs other related duties of assigned

This is a key position in the F-35 CNI Production Operating Unit Contracts Organization. This position is responsible for leading all aspects of the Production Contracts Organization supporting the JSF Communication, Navigation and Identification (CNI) Production Operating Unit. Lead staff in support of a broad range of product development and production efforts with multiple contract types to include FFP, CPIF and T&M. Responsibilities encompass major production capture efforts and management of those efforts after receipt of award. This position requires a collaborative team builder with ability to interface with executive management on a regular basis. Must have strong leadership skills and be a strategic thinker. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor degree and 10 years of related experience or Masters degree with 8 years of related experience. Must have demonstrated track record dealing with Government and/or commercial contracting and have a solid understanding of the FAR, DFARS and general contract principles. Must have demonstrated previous leadership or supervisor experience. Must be highly productive in daily routing. Shall demonstrate good oral and written communications skills along with strong computer literacy. Requires fully engaged team oriented individual capable of working in fast paced environment.
