BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair has two (2) Full-time Sr. Contract Administrator opening to be utilized in the successful execution on various Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) Programs :
Candidate will Execute moderately complex contracts in accordance with FAR as well as company's policies and procedures. Reviews performance requirements in the contracts to assure compliance with its terms.
Negotiates with customer to resolve problems of contractual obligations and what actions should be taken to assure compliance. Evaluates contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extension. Negotiates contract changes and amendments with customer or vendors and also interfaces with company management to develop or review contracts for provided services, supplies equipment or other material to the customer.
Prepares and analyzes moderately complex price proposals, financial reports and other data to determine reasonableness of prices, solicitations, terms and conditions. Prepares cost proposals for changes, extensions, renewed options and similar features on existing contracts. Signs offer as person authorized to bind the offeror.
Performs sub contract agreement coordination function to ensure the back-up data for compliance with government or customer regulation is obtained for files. Monitors program deliverables, prepares and maintains cost projections and schedules deliverables. Prepares general correspondence such as letter of requests for no-cost extensions, rent free use of government property, submission of revised proposals and the like. Performs other related duties of assigned.
