As our Next-Gen Logistics Continuous Improvement Specialist, you'll assist in the transformation of our logistics operations by implementing projects that improve flow through our Network. One area of focus will be in using emerging AI and machine learning tools as a new way to analyze data and solve problems. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop new skills, drive innovation, collaborate with diverse teams, and make a significant impact on our organization's efficiency and effectiveness.

Continuous Improvement Specialist - Next Gen Logistics

How You'll Create Possibilities

  • Implement continuous improvement projects to help the logistics team meet their goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve logistics & total business operations.

  • Evaluate project outcomes, using metrics to make data-driven adjustments.

  • Travel to key customers (<20%) to understand their issues, gather feedback, and validate the effectiveness of solutions.

  • Coordinate & expand on the implementation of image recognition AI tools to analyze return pictures, identifying common damage patterns and causes.

  • Liaise with digital technology partners to ensure successful implementation and utilization of projects.

  • Contribute to team learning on business AI applications and promote a culture of curiosity.

  • Stay updated with emerging AI trends and technologies through webinars, supplemental training, or conference attendance.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing Management, Logistics, Quality, Business, or another related field.

  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably with exposure to Supply Chain or Logistics.

  • Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies, specifically AI and machine learning.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly communicate insights.

  • Excellent collaboration & organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data analysis or project management.

  • Utilization of AI tools in or outside of business settings.

  • Reverse Logistics Experience

  • Experience with Oracle, WMS, Salesforce, or similar systems.

  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or other Problem-Solving tools.

  • Skilled at translating "geek-speak" into everyday language.

  • High potential for future leadership roles.
