POSITION OVERVIEW
The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. The individual will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities that will result in higher yields, reduced costs, and improved environmental sustainability across various departments. This position requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for driving positive change. This role supports facilities in Hamilton, Oh and Florence, Ky. It is on-site and hands on.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and Implement Continuous Improvement projects aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Utilize methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to drive process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct thorough reviews of existing processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. Use data-driven analysis to identify root causes of inefficiencies and develop action plans for improvement.
Facilitate Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) events to identify, prioritize, develop, and implement process improvement opportunities
Manage and improve the standard process documentation
Develop and implement visual tools to improve communication, drive key production metrics
Incorporate sustainability metrics into the continuous improvement projects to drive measurable advances in performance
Provide coaching and training to employees at all levels on continuous improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques. Empower team members to identify and implement improvement opportunities in their respective areas.
Work collaboratively with Operations to guide, train, and create a culture of continuous improvement
Follow all safety requirements and strive to maintain a safe work environment
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of hands-on continuous improvement leadership in industrial, manufacturing, of food production environment
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Management or related field
Experienced Kaizen facilitator and motivational leader
Certification in Lean / Six Sigma
Creative problem-solving and rapid prototyping skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive decision-making.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines
