JOB SUMMARY:

The Continuous Improvement Analyst will utilize strategicaccount management processes to drive growth and efficiencies across thenetwork. In this role, the ContinuousImprovement Analyst, through analytic examination and direct continuousimprovement efforts, will proactively identify opportunities for our customersthrough cross departmental collaboration and best practice sharing. The ContinuousImprovement Analyst may report to the Manager, or Senior Manager, ContinuousImprovement.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Through data analytics processes, manage the company's topstrategic accounts to ensure that the customer is receiving the best product atthe lowest possible cost while simultaneously maximizing efficiencies.

  • Lead weekly internal meetings to identify and communicateopportunities for continuous improvement, develop root cause analyses,corrective actions, and other critical customer focused requirements necessaryto ensure an exceptional and constantly improving customer experience.

  • Develop long-term strategies with internal stakeholders to sustainoptimum service levels in keeping with internal value propositions designed toenhance and maintain customer relationships.

  • Ensure accurate and complete on-boarding of new clients and lanesby leading an onboarding call with each customer. This process is key, designedto ensure an optimum exchange of information relating to operationalrequirements, accessorial requirements, contact information, reporting,invoicing, etc. to ensure a successful transition of new business into the Huborganization.

  • Communicate effectively with all levels of internal and externalcustomers by exhibiting a consistent and continual sense of urgency in responseto every situation and opportunity.

  • Participate in project management idea creation, planning,implementation, and KPI tracking.

  • Duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned orchanged from time to time.

  • Bachelor's degree withan emphasis on Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Logistics, orSupply Chain preferred.

  • Experience and desire to solve challenges via analysis,including suggesting and implementing process improvements.

  • Must have excellentcommunication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectivelyinterface with customers and internal personnel.

  • High level ofproficiency with software programs including MS products and AS400 OperatingSystem is preferred.

  • Must be self-driven,self-motivated, and customer service-oriented, while being an effective teamplayer.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesas well as flexibility to adapt to change with new systems and methods.

  • Experience in the transportation industry preferred.

  • Occasional travel may be required.
