Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

Department Description

As a member of Oracle's Process, Automation and Compliance Team within Global Supplier Management, you will interface with key stakeholders (Engineering, Legal, Finance, Compliance, IT) and other Supply Chain Operations functions to deliver programs, processes and tools to ensure Continuity of Supply (COS), business simplification, and continuous improvement.

What will I do?

Oracle is looking for an innovative, inspiring, resourceful program manager who will drive and manage multiple Continuity of Supply (COS) programs that are in-process as well as assist in bringing new programs to fruition. You will:

  • Identify emerging areas of risk and opportunities at the product level and supply chain level while managing programs to drive meaningful impact with engineering and suppliers.

  • Build strong relationships at all levels of the business and our supply chain to advance COS priorities and meet desired targets and goals.

  • Lead programs that require relationship building, data analytics, work plans, and metrics.

  • Identify requirements for tools and enable automation.

  • Develop, communicate, and train the organization on COS business practices, tools and processes.

  • Event monitoring and management.

  • Own policies, procedures, and reporting for COS programs.

What are we looking for in a candidate?

Oracle is looking for a highly motivated self-starter who has supply chain experience and a passion for improvement, especially ensuring continuity of supply.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business (Prefer advanced degree with a good understanding of COS best practices, knowledge of information technology and computer electronics industries.)

  • Ability to transform ambiguity into clarity.

  • Leadership, program management, presentation and influencing skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, negotiation and ability to multi-task.

  • 5 years experience in supply chain roles with a track record of effectively managing programs in an empowered and changing environment.

  • Experience designing and implementing projects requiring cross-group collaboration.

  • Experience with assessment and evaluation of risks associated with continuity of supply in products and supply chains.

  • Knowledge and application of industry best practices and ability to analyze data in a multi-disciplinary approach to resolve material shortage issues.

  • Ability to design and deliver COS programs and tools.

  • Track record of being an enthusiastic, creative, resourceful, and effective teamplayer with experience leading and influencing internal and external resources to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt and/or PMP Certification is a plus.

  • Business intelligence/reporting dashboard system experience is preferred.
