We are seeking a talented CPE Compliance & Quality Control Coordinator based in our Troy, Lansing or Jackson offices. In this role, you will support the firmwide coordination and administrative of CPE (Continuing Professional Education) compliance and licensing; ensure firm compliance with state and other jurisdictional requirements; and provide other processional support for the firm's CPE, licensing and quality control functions.

How You'll Make an Impact at Rehmann:

  • CPE Compliance Monitoring:

  • Monitoring CPE compliance with all applicable state requirements, requirements of other governing bodies (i.e. Yellow Book, EBPAQC, PCAOB, AICPA), requirements of other certifications and other internal CPE requirements.

  • Entering CPE credits into the Learning Management System (LMS)/CPE Tracker for internal and external programs

  • Communicating with associates regarding audit requests from state boards or others

  • Continuously overseeing, supporting and training CPE representatives across the firm

  • Creating CPE policies and processes with the firm's Learning & Development Team

  • Collaborating with the Learning & Development Team to ensure that applicable training programs are CPE compliant and up-to-date

  • Individual State Licensing:

  • Communicating appropriate CPE deadlines, unfulfilled CPE requirements and state renewal deadlines to associates

  • Updating internal systems with appropriate licensing information for newly licensed Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and new hires

  • After deadlines, verifying that licenses were properly renewed and are active

  • Researching and understanding state-specific licensing requirements and responding to questions related to licensing requirements in other states

  • Assisting with initial license applications after associates successfully pass CPA exams

  • Firm Licensing:

  • Assisting with initial application or renewal of Rehmann state licenses

  • Drafting required PCAOB forms when new licenses are obtained

  • Other Professional Support:

  • Annually comparing AICPA and state society membership rosters to employee lists

  • Assisting with scheduling and coordinating meetings, trainings, internal inspection and peer reviews

  • Providing overall administrative and professional support for the firm's CPE, licensing and quality control functions

Your Desired Skills, Values & Experiences:

  • Strong administrative and coordination skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Can-do attitude and outstanding customer service skills

  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar systems, a plus

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment interacting with internal associates at all levels

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Experience in a professional or financial services firm, a plus

  • Prior experience working with CPE tracking (or similar compliance related processes), a plus

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

Position Description Under general direction the Care Management Coordinator (CMC) in conjunction with the Care Managers, coordinates care management services, conducts outreach calls to VPA or Managed Care patients and conducts initial Care Management screening. The CMC may provide non-clinical support services including logistically coordinating hospital inpatient and ED discharge patient follow up. Serves as an initial referral point for Care Management services for patients with complex needs. Essential Duties and responsibilities * Manage a panel of patients by: * Initiating outbound calling sequence for patients recently discharged from the Hospital or after an ED visit * Conducts initial patient screening based on prescribed assessment tools * Interprets customer needs and assist in arranging resources to achieve customer satisfaction * Follows up on non-clinical patient issues and refers cases to Care Managers based on patient needs * Maintain all patient and referral documentation within the Care Management software * Interacts as directed with all members of the care team to enhance care coordination * Coordinate patient needs with Care Managers, local practice PCCs and schedulers * Organize a variety of administrative and clinical tasks and prioritize in order of importance and impact on patients and providers * Assist in preparation of daily, weekly or monthly reporting documents * Contribute ideas for performance and process management improvement within the department * Assist department in administrative functions * Perform special projects as assigned REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills and Experience * Certified Medical Assistant, EMT certification or pharmacy technician certification * High school graduate with some college level course work. * Experience in customer service * Self-directed with excellent problem solving skills * Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent computer skills required Usmm Troy MI
