Job Summary
The College of Social Work is seeking a qualified Continuing Education Specialist. This position will oversee the administration and coordination of the College of Social Work's Office of Professional Development and Continuing Education (OPDCE) program.
Responsibilities include advancement of professional development (PD) and continuing education (CE) programming through strategic planning and development. This position ensures compliance and adherence to all regulatory and accreditation Boards pertaining to relevant professional licensure and certification. Additional duties include identifying target audiences, marketing OPDCE offerings and services to appropriate audiences, and expanding PD and CE programming using multiple modalities and platforms. This position will provide income projections, monitor the OPDCE budget, and ensure financial viability of the OPDCE program through income management protocol development.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Professional knowledge of continuing education, professional licensure standards, regulations, and competencies; Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations in relation to professional licensure; public speaking, public relations and marketing knowledge.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience
Driver's license preferred.
