Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.

Excellent organization, presentation & writing skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions

• Assists with planning and implementation of a variety of programs, including but not limited to, camps, conferences, educational programs, training, and community programs.

• Supports in coordination of all logistical aspects of camps, conferences, and/or programming including venue selection, scheduling, transportation, accommodations, catering, equipment, etc.

• Maintains detailed event timelines and checklists.

• Serves as a point of contact for clients, participants, and vendors.

• Handles inquiries, registrations and feedback promptly and professionally with specific, customized packaging, on-site credit/non-credit courses, seminars/workshops, or other appropriate delivery strategies.

• Supervises camp, conference, and programming staff, including counselors, facilitators, lecturers, and volunteers.

• Travels to and attends meetings and events which will require working nights and weekends.

• Interacts in a professional manner with administrators, faculty, staff, students, and outside constituencies.

• Ensures compliance with applicable university, state, and federal regulations as well as health, safety and accessibility standards.

• Regular and prompt attendance.

• Ability to work schedule as assigned and overtime as required.

• Related duties as required.
