Continuing Education Instructor - Logistics (Pt)

The Division Continuing Education seeks and employs adjunct faculty throughout the year for instructional roles in Gainesville, Denton, Champions Circle, Flower Mound, Corinth, Bowie and Graham.

We are currently seeking instructors for our Workforce Training Courses. The purpose of this position is to teach college courses as listed in current Logistics curriculum and provide related services, such as academic advising, committee participation, professional development, community development and others as needed. Candidate must work well in a team environment and communicate effectively in an instructional setting, be a self-starter, be willing to work with a flexible schedule. Travel may be required to various locations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Demonstrate an understanding of the various roles in the global supply chain logistics life cycle

• Demonstrate an understanding of the logistics environment

• Identify and use equipment utilized in the field

• Practice safety principles in the handling of materials and operating of equipment

• Practice quality control principles

• Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change based on the needs of the department and the institution.
