Imagine One Technology & Management is currently seeking Software Developers/Engineers "contingent" on award of the associated work to the Imagine One Team. This position supports the US Navy in Mechanicsburg, PA. The Software Developers/Engineers will perform duties that include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform functions relating to design, software engineering/programming (create/maintain source code) and unit testing, and maintenance of assigned program applications.

  • Analyze/refine systems requirements, determine and design system/application architecture, write/debug/maintain code (using the program's defined software development processes), and develop/maintain system/application documentation.

  • Provide application engineering perspective when interfacing with customers/users and program teams, including the environment.

  • Perform evaluation of new technology tools/methodologies, supporting application engineering.

  • Design and test user interfaces.

  • Support program teams and customer/users in testing, assuring software and systems quality and functionality.

  • Provide technical advice to program team, management, and customers/users.

  • Determine the feasibility of design alternatives, translate systems requirements into application prototypes, and develop problem resolutions.

  • Develop documents to communicate with the program's teams and/or customers, to include but not limited to, Operational Concept Documents (OCD), Requirements Statements, System Specifications, Design Documents, System Flowcharts, Test Plans, Use Cases, User Guides, Implementation Plans, or similar documents for the assigned engineering for a project.

  • Conduct overall system tests to ensure functional unit inter-relationships are functioning properly.

  • Provide customer support and research program issues.

  • Support user/team meetings to determine validity of projects and gather requirements.

  • Provide support to the development of the release packages.

  • Participate in Internal Review Board.

  • Analyze system requirements, convert functional design to detailed logic for coding into computer language for the assigned software systems, to include but not limited to, the OIS Modules and Components.

  • Analyze problems, to include but not limited to, Program Trouble Reports (PTRs), Application Change Requests (ACRs), and System Change Requests (SCRs); develop sequence of program steps, and convert steps to computer-processable language for the assigned systems.

  • Develop and submit the Software Detailed Design Document for each of the assigned systems in accordance with established standards.

  • Review each module as well as the system as a whole for design validity. This includes, but is not limited to, validation of record input, data elements and output reports.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience providing software development/engineering support in a DoD environment.

Educational Requirements:

  • IAT Level I certification: Network+ certification is preferred

  • Alternative qualifying certifications: A+; CCNA-Security; or SSCP.

Security Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • Active Secret DoD Clearance
