You would join our editorial team and enrich our websites with new blog posts, guides and marketing copy. Content Writer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication.

Ultimately, youll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.


  • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
  • Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
  • Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
  • Submit work to editors for input and approval
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
  • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
  • Promote content on social media
  • Identify customers needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
  • Update website content as needed


  • Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Experience doing SEO and research using multiple sources
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
  • Ability to meet deadlines

The Creative+ Storytelling team builds and delivers provocative thought leadership for NA's biggest priorities and most prominent sales leaders, inspiring clients to think differently about our platforms. As a Storytelling and Content Writer on our NA Business Marketing team, you will be positioned to develop and write stories that position Facebook as a pioneer in business marketing to some of our biggest advertisers around the country. You will work with several members of our executive leadership team and navigate internal resources to develop bespoke POVs along with scalable content to provoke the industry to engage with advertising on our platforms. You will be a master in managing projects from concept to completion, working with internal groups and creative teams to develop and bring compelling stories, presentations and speeches to life. You'll thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, where you'll flex your background in marketing and storytelling, and are known for creating iconic, boundary-pushing work. This role will sit on the Creative+ team and work on content that serves the advertising and business communities in North America in support of Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and more. Content Writer Responsibilities * Be the content point-person on a variety of projects and programs from brief to delivery Work with leadership in marketing and creative to draft strategic messaging and keynote speeches for use with our Sales and Marketing teams Identify and create thought-leadership on industry trends, and form a strong and compelling POV based on research Lead content development for key executive stakeholders for big and small stage Participate in creative brainstorms with event and marketing leads Review and edit stories, presentations & speeches based on feedback from leaders, PR, Legal and other parties around the company Conduct research to support POV and provide unique storytelling opportunities Work with a variety of key stakeholders to ensure shared details are precise and accurate Support the NA Business Marketing strategy and identify and develop new and innovative ways of delivering against team mission, vision and culture Identify throughlines for content deliverables and ways to scale content across teams Minimum Qualifications * 5+ years experience writing, written and spoken communications, from complex marketing narratives or speeches/presentations to advertorials, with an emphasis on marketing and creative storytelling Experience working as an author of both short and long-form content that has appeared on stage and/or in print Experience working with graphic designers, event producers and marketing executives Project Management experience Ghostwriting experience Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously Fast Learner, flexible, likes working in a fast-paced environment where the only constant is change Expertise with G-suite, Microsoft Office, Keynote, Dropbox, Outlook and internal tools Business-to-Business focused portfolio or writing samples Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Communications, English and/or proven mastery in Creative Writing or related field Expert knowledge of marketing and/or digital advertising Experience in SEO and content measurement Locations About the Facebook company Facebook's mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
