The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in our Lingo division.

  • You will be responsible for creating, executing, and overseeing written product content for Lingo as part of the Lingo content team. You will develop and maintain new content formats and build insights for web and app product with a customer-centric mindset. Your mission is to deliver high quality, delightful and engaging written content from concept to production and storytelling.

  • You will identify and collaborate with various resources including customers, influencers, partners and freelancers to create content in a multitude of different formats (graphics, data visualization, app and website copy).

  • You will ensure all written content produced is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice and passes scientific, regulatory, and legal reviews.

  • You will closely work with the Content Director in shaping the Lingo product content strategy. As we deploy agile squads in product development and tech, you will collaborate with insights, design, product owners, data science, clinical and other experts to ensure delivery of product content.

  • You will develop lead a network of content creators and freelancers, help them execute the content plan.

  • You have experience running a team/network of content creators in a fast-changing consumer tech environment.

What You'll Work On

  • Develop, own and execute a product content plan to drive product differentiation, engagement and retention for the Lingo digital products (e.g., apps)

  • Create differentiating written product content and insights for the digital product and services.

  • Create and iterate multiple new content formats to enhance the end-to-end app experience.

  • Build and lead the network to deliver against the product content strategy; edit and review written content to ensure it is on-brand and passes scientific, regulatory and legal reviews.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure proper tone of voice for all touchpoints related to written content.

  • Define and track KPIs to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness of content against business goals.

  • Stay abreast of latest industry-related topics and trends to identify new customers' needs and expectations.

  • Conduct research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter.

  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content.

  • Collaborate with insights, design, product owners, data science, clinical and other experts for content creation, and coordinate with brand, marketing, PR and other functions to leverage synergies.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years' experience in product content creation

  • Copywriting and concept formatting for digital platforms

  • Creative thinking mindset in fast-evolving technology environments

  • Strong understanding of user expectations, industry trends and research methodologies

  • Proven ability in building educational content for digital products.

  • A Bachelor's or higher degree in Arts, Education, Languages, Sociology, Psychology or any related fields

  • Have experience in some type of CMS (Content Management System)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree is highly desirable.

  • International experience preferred.

The base pay for this position is $83,600.00 - $167,200.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
