What You’ll Do:As a Bilingual Copywriter , you’ll play a key role in creating digital experiences for our customers through copy. In collaboration with teams such as user experience, development, testing, analytics and marketing, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our copy is clear and relevant, and matches the brand voice and tone.What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Crafting fresh, engaging, customer-focused copy that demystifies complex products and generates excitement and creates a seamless user experience
Understanding brand identity and ensure voice and tone alignment
Collaborating with cross-functional product owners, user experience specialists, and designers to translate high-level concepts into tangible digital experiences through copy
Incorporating feedback and comments from cross-functional partners while being mindful of deadlines
Revising French pages on the website, identify any errors and have them corrected
Translating texts from English to French and adapt content, context and style as faithfully as possible in keeping with voice and tone
Occasionally liaise between us and our third party translation provider, and ensure effective communication and the smooth exchange of information
Working with revisers to keep abreast of new terminology and research and establish terminology as required
• Address shortcomings in the translation/revision process and propose solutionsWhat You’ll Need to Be Successful:
• Experienced in digital sales, marketing and merchandising
• Ability to prioritize deadlines across multiple teams and shift between projects with ease
• Experience in writing copy for a digital company or agency
• University degree with specialization in English to French translation, or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years’ experience as a reviser, preferably in a similar role
• Knowledge of LogiTerm and online linguistic research tools such as Termium, GDT and Antidote
• Perfect command of French and excellent knowledge of English
• Telecommunications experience an asset
