Thorough understanding of the digital content space
This role requires a mix of strategic and functional skills. The ability to build out detailed and creative editorial plans, while also tracking projects across multiple divisions with great attention to detail, commitment to delivery and also deadlines
The person in this role must have exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to bring ideas and plans together; being able to reconcile different creative points of view as well as ensuring that each stakeholder is invested
Both verbal and written communication skills are essential, with a track record of leading projects
Deep connection to the arts, tech, & media landscape, and experience working closely with creative teamsA proven track record of idea-generation and concept-creationThe position requires a self-motivated individual; extraordinarily driven, highly adaptable with outstanding communication and organizational skills, who is also able to work under pressure
Ability to translate customer engagement data into editorial insights and learnings
Proven track record in working on complex, global, large-scale, and time-critical projects

This individual will need to have been exposed to multiple digital businesses and have a level of comfort and understanding of the user experience

The Content Strategy and Planning Manager for Apple Music will provide a combination of both strategic content direction as well as more functional project management for the global editorial business Working with the many varied stakeholders across the business, the individual in this role will drive the editorial vision for key projects, brands and initiatives from concept stage through to scoping, briefing and coordination The Content Strategy and Planning Manager will plan for and coordinate a cohesive idea/thought/narrative across all platforms - Apple Music, Beats 1 and off platform channels Will provide cross-functional support and key stakeholder coordination across all global editorial projects Will also provide ideation and coordination support to the regions on local editorial projects
University degree preferable. MBA or Post-Graduate is a plus. Plus 7 to 10 years related experience
