Position Overview:

The Content Specialist is responsible for managing and building relationships with key stakeholder sources for the purpose of collecting information on public and private construction projects. The Content Specialist manages projects in all phases of the construction project life cycle from planning through the post bid phase. This position involves telephone work, internet research, document management and data entry. A Content Specialist must be able to build productive relationships with industry sources. This individual must have excellent communication skills and proficiency. Construction news reporting experience strongly desired. This department is a fast-paced multi-tasked publishing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establish productive relationships with industry sources.

  • Create and manage data for assigned sources.

  • Responds to customer inquiries as needed.

  • Conduct telephone calls to assigned sources to obtain project information, plans and specifications and other bidding documents, as well as updating existing and developing new projects.

  • Create and update private and public project reports in the pre-design, design, bid and post bid stages of the construction process based on information obtained from sources, including general contractors, architects, engineers, developers, construction managers, public & private owners.

  • Work closely with reprographers to coordinate delivery and processing of plans, specs and addendum.

  • Communicate with team members on design news and new projects obtained through daily websites or other sources that automatically send bidding news to the plan room, especially if a difficult source is involved.

  • Create new bidding projects from plans and specifications, according to our protocol.

  • Maintain the quality of content within our CRM and secure news, plans and specifications according to our operating standards.

  • Prepare check requests for plan fees and/or deposits on plans and specifications per Content protocol

  • Respond to email and voice mail in a timely manner according to Content standards.

Experience & Educational

  • Bachelor's degree OR 6 months of successful experience in another role within ConstructConnect OR Associates degree and 2 year of experience in a corporate environment or HS diploma and 3 years' experience in a corporate environment.

  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Adaptable to learning the construction bid process and terms used

  • Experience in customer service or call center preferred but not required

  • Have the ability to conduct outreach primarily via Phone, but also demonstrate proficiency in internet research and email.

  • Typing proficiency 35 wpm

  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Word and Excel.

VIEW JOBS 7/13/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-10-11T00:00 Role: TD Ameritrade Network is looking for a motivated and well-organized person to coordinate and arrange media that is ingested into our MAM (Multimedia Asset Manager) and posted to our distribution channels. This person will also work closely with the post production team and writers to ensure media is being tagged, descriptions are written and associated files are paired with the videos. They will also post content to our various distribution channels and validate that said content has associated tags, descriptions, closed captions, etc. Finally, this role will assist the network in the aggregation and reporting of channel and social metrics that will be used to track KPIs. Responsibilities: * Monitor and keep organized, all content and metadata that is ingested into our MAM (Multimedia Asset Manager) daily. * Validate that CIP (AI tag generator) responded with tags in the proper field and confirm that descriptions and titles were entered by the writers prior to posting. * Make sure that all associated files are present and paired with the parent video file, i.e. thumbnails and closed captions. * Assist editors in posting approved content to the proper distribution channels and validate that items posted correctly. * Set expiration dates on all content to ensure we keep our channels and MAM organized while removing expired media from certain sites. * Validation of WORM (Compliance file retention) storage receipt from reports sent by our file retention team. * Update content on these channels and in the MAM (Multimedia Asset Manager) by recognizing clips what that would serve well on all of our partner channels. * Submit weekly clips for compliance or supervision approval and post approved content to TD Ameritrade or 3rd party distribution channels. * Manage content approval and posting for the Radio (audio only) distribution channels. * Aggregate social stats to share with the TDAN and Education Ambassadors * Work to update and consolidate analytics from Google Analytics, Clickstream and Amazon. * Create a reconciliation report from items that were sent to WORM (Compliance file retention) storage and items that show approved in our MAM.
