What you will be doing

We are currently hiring the Content Production Manager to join our Content Marketing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the planning, coordination, and execution of photo and video projects from conception to completion. The right candidate thrives in fast paced, high-volume environments and can juggle competing deadlines and priorities. This person remains positive under pressure and uncertainty and is a tenacious problem solver who unearths solutions to solve problems and enhance processes to optimize output. The position will preferably be based in Pleasanton, CA. However, we are open to candidates near divisional offices in Boise, ID; or one of our main regional offices (Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Denver, CO; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; Fullerton, CA; or Phoenix, AZ).

Main responsibilities

  • Oversees our agency studio's production schedule ensuring all business and marketing assets are produced in time for when needed by creative and other marketing and division teams.

  • Manages our division photo requests with partner studio and ensures divisions have assets when needed.

  • Collaborates with various internal stakeholders to understand and maintain project requirements, objectives, and timelines for photo and video assets produced at studio.

  • Builds and supports the maintenance of the Content Team's content calendar working with content leads to input key photo and video themes and assets to support our annual marketing calendar.

  • Coordinates with lead brand agency, divisions and production companies on all logistics associated with major lifestyle and commercial photo and video shoots. This includes facilitating city and real estate approvals for on-location shoots, facilitating props and equipment to shoots (product samples, uniforms, bags, etc.)

  • Works closely with Content Leads, Art Director, outside content creators and agency teams to ensure photo and video briefs, story boards and art direction decks are delivered to vendors and studios when needed.

  • Serves as primary lead for Business Unit Photo requests working closely with Integrated Marketing Managers, Creative and Partner studio(s) to manage photo requests.

  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and reconcile invoices to ensure accurate financial management for all photo and video projects.

  • Provide regular production and schedule updates to team and leadership around output and volume of content produced.

  • Manage post-production processes, including editing, retouching, and delivery of final assets to various teams working closely with agency partners and Content Operations Assoc Manager to ensure assets are stored in the right locations with in our Digital Asset Management System.

The salary range is $92,000 to $120,000. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay/Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually) bereavement pay and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.

What we are searching for

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, photography or film production, or a related field or equivalent experience

  • 5 - 8 years in marketing or advertising managing photo and video production either internally or at an agency

  • Proven experience managing schedules and working with internal or outside agencies and studios to produce photo and video assets.

  • Solutions oriented who is unfazed by adversity or obscurity who can establish new processes and optimize existing.

  • Agile and nimble project manager who thrives in fast paced, high-volume environments who brings structure to planning but is also flexible to adjust plans as new information and shifting priorities require.

  • Positive, upbeat bridge builder who can quickly form relationships to navigate a matrixed, highly collaborative organization.

  • Proactive and excellent communicator who keeps all parties apprised of project details and status through to project completion.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.

  • Experience in managing budgets and financial resources is a plus.
