Forbes seeks a content partnerships manager for Forbes sponsored editorial and paid brand content programs including Forbes BrandVoice and Forbes Insights. The content partnerships manager will lead client strategy and results reporting for partner programs, working closely with account managers, content producers and project managers. The role is highly service- and analytics-oriented for programs that may include digital post, digital video, research, research report, social and print executions, and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Specialize in campaigns with longer-term client relationships and interacting with more senior client contacts
  • Guide and persuade clients in challenging interactions regarding their programs
  • Develop own voice and style in program and client management as demonstrated by singular approaches to client and program service
  • Devise and provide advanced client services such as on-site content marketing presentations and strategy sessions, with the ability to confidently lead in-person interactions without more senior Forbes staff members present
  • Demonstrate advanced level of comfort and understanding of program execution mechanics and details
  • Devise and share new ideas and tactics in program and client management
  • Work independently on special projects as needed
  • Lead client value relationship for program
    • Serve as main point of contact and guidance with partner brands, acting as a trusted advisor for all program needs
      • Communicate professionally, effectively and authoritatively
    • Guide clients on content strategy
      • Use data-based tools for insights and recommendations
    • Manage optimization of content distribution across Forbes.com and external Forbes channels
    • Troubleshoot problems and manage client issues
    • Work highly collaboratively with project managers on seamless services execution
  • Be analytics-driven
    • Monitor client program analytics daily
    • Manage client reporting, working with analysts to provide data and insights
    • Review and approve all information within reports
    • Craft strategy sessions as applicable
    • Alert and troubleshoot problems
  • Manage partner brand goals and alignment in Forbes content creation
    • Review all content materials, pitches, etc., before sending to client, at all production stages, for alignment with brand content strategy and goals
    • Work closely with content creators as an advocate for the brand
  • Drive renewals, extensions and new business
    • Work closely with and advise sales reps and clients on relevant ongoing and new product offerings and partnership opportunities
    • Forge relationships with sales reps and request inclusion in some client activities for more client face-time and relationship building
  • Be well-versed on clients and client industries
    • Follow clients on social media and in newsletters
    • Follow top industry news sources (e.g. Re/Code Daily)
  • Be an expert in content marketing
    • Follow content marketing industry news (e.g. Content Marketing Institute)
    • Attend at least one local industry event annually (budget permitting)

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of experience in digital media project management including client management
  • Able to thrive working on a high number of simultaneous campaigns
  • Able to nimbly adapt to iterative business features and demands
  • Adept working with a variety of project management and other collaborative tools
  • Team player
  • Service-oriented
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
