Zeta is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to join our growing team working closely with our Content Marketing Manager, Graphic Designers, and other key members of the Zeta marketing team. You can expect to create both short-form and long-form content that will be used for a variety of purposes, from improving lead acquisition, to increasing sales, to expanding the footprint of the Zeta brand in the B2B Marketing Industry.

Job Requirements

  • 1+ years working in B2B or B2C content marketing OR 3+ years working as a professional writer.

  • A portfolio featuring work where you are the original and primary author-blogs, emails, landing pages, search ads, whitepapers, etc.

  • Keen editorial eye

  • Ability to adapt writing voice and style to a manner that suits the expectations of the Content Marketing Manager and Zeta Brand.

  • Experience adhering to a dynamic content calendar that includes strict and flexible delivery dates.

  • Proactive self-starter who can also thrive in a collaborative team environment.

  • Ability to work with very technical concepts and translate them into "every-man" jargon.

Additional Skills:

  • Ability to work independently

  • Capable of thriving in a remote work environment

  • Experience with product marketing, product segmentation, and audience segmentation.

  • History of academic or professional success working with complex topics

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console

  • Familiarity with Salesforce

  • Familiarity with any cornerstone email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Hubspot, Marketo, etc.).

  • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite

  • Knowledge of basic HTML or CSS

On Any Given Day You Will...

  • Develop content for lead generation, brand expansion, sales enablement, product marketing, and thought leadership.

  • Manage and update the Zeta editorial calendar in Excel, as well as the content production calendar in Trello.

  • Work with the social media team to create unique, insightful content for organic distribution on LinkedIn, Twitter, and more.

  • Create copy for whitepapers, ebooks, blogs, paid ads, landing pages, emails, infographics, presentations, the Zeta website, and more.

  • Monitor website performance and email campaign performance

  • Brainstorm and interact with a diverse set of internal stakeholders to help generate original ideas for content that will engage targeted audiences and create resonance for the Zeta brand.

This role will focus on transforming brand and product marketing strategy into best-in-class content that accelerates community growth and deepens oVertone’s relationship to its audience and clients. </p><p>The Director, Content &amp; Community Strategy is a key leadership position on the marketing team, and requires partnership with cross-functional teams, including Brand Marketing, Growth, Creative and Development to create holistic and efficient content plans that support each team’s respective needs and overall brand objectives. They will serve as the content nucleus and expert, ensuring strategic development of content that fuels a client-centric consumer journey across various brand touchpoints. This person will also oversee organic social strategy and execution, influencer strategy and network development, and cross-functional community management. </p><p>Across all phases of content planning, production and launch, the Director, Content Marketing will ensure consistency in the oVertone voice and tone. This individual will be an expert on digital media marketing trends, and will constantly drive innovation, leveraging data, insights and competitive analysis to drive concepting and optimize content across channels.</p><p>This role reports directly to the VP Marketing and will manage the day-to-day of the Content, Social, Influencer and Community Management Team, as well as agency partners. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul> <li>Partner with Brand &amp; Growth teams to plan content that can efficiently be leveraged across channels to drive awareness, traffic, engagement and conversion across diverse platforms </li> <li>Lead cross-platform channel and content strategy, that brings brand messages to life through expertise of channels and understanding of how to drive organic &amp; paid success on various platforms </li> <li>Partner with Creative team to brief and produce best-in-class content that is tailored to various audiences, channels and messages to meet marketing objectives</li> <li>Build and own the cross-functional content calendar, aligning team leads and overseeing successful execution through clear, concise and thorough documents, communications and presentations</li> <li>Directly manage the Social team to develop and execute content plans on a day to day basis, while analyzing performance and using data/learnings to drive constant innovation</li> <li>Oversee Influencer team and agency partners to drive growth to scale network, relationship-building and content-sourcing, and develop custom partnerships that support key marketing initiatives </li> <li>Across key functions, analyze and measure the ongoing performance to determine effectiveness through relevant monitoring tools. Assist team in deciding on platforms, incentive structures, and scalable influencer network solutions.</li> <li>Oversee strategic approach for Influencer campaigns, campaign execution and constantly refining content and partnership briefs to yield high quality, engaging content that supports brand objectives. Support ideation of new approaches, messages and ways in for custom content to drive innovation and desire to collaborate within influencer community</li> <li>Manage reporting and analysis of Influencer content, oversee management of dashboards and data from 3rd party partners to develop consistent and coherent reporting.
