We are seeking a Content Marketing Manager (remote) to join our growing team!
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Position Summary
As Content Marketing Manager for the Education and Nonprofit division of Community Brands you are responsible for driving the message and voice behind assigned products and brands while creating fun, educational, resourceful, and diverse content. You will play a vital role in planning and market positioning across a broad range of marketing activities and tactics-thought leadership, social media, digital advertising, and compelling digital experiences. Successful candidates will have content marketing and copywriting experience, strong writing skills, social media skills, and relative knowledge within the nonprofit or private education space.
A Day in the Life
Lead content creation for assigned products and help drive efforts to level-up content with new ideas and voice enhancements
Work as lead copywriter on all tasks and projects assigned
Project manage major assets for the content side of the deliverable
Partner with campaign managers to brainstorm and develop programs that meet the market audience
Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Marketing Operations, Creative, and Sales team members and stakeholders on content strategy and execution
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of private and independent K-12 school industry and track trends in the industry
Develop insights and "out-of-the box" recommendations to continuously test and improve content effectiveness
Support sales efforts and campaign programming with innovation and efficiency recommendations
Assist in campaign development and execution where necessary
Support social media execution including campaign postings, trend/industry news postings, and drive follower numbers on LinkedIn
We are looking for someone who brings
Organized and a self-starter, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively and build strong relationships cross-functionally
Skilled at writing long form and digital content that is optimized for SEO
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a high attention to detail
Exhibits motivation and a strong desire to meet goals and creatively collaborate to drive success
Writes content in a modern voice with experience managing social media and email channels
Skilled at interacting with employees at all levels within the organization
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute in order to meet strategy and objective
With the knowledge and skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in content marketing or SaaS software
Familiarity with digital advertising tools and practices
Experience writing in the Edtech industry or private school/independent school sector or SaaS tech experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience working with marketing automation tools (HubSpot a plus)
Familiarity using project management tools (Monday.com preferred) or Asana
Experience marketing to, working with, or working in nonprofit organizations/the nonprofit space, accounting, or the education (private/independent school) space preferred
Total Rewards
The salary range for this is $75,000- $85,000 a year, depending on experience.
