Content Engineering Intern

Summary:

Join Dolby as a Content Engineering Intern and be a key player in enabling cutting-edge Dolby

Vision and Atmos content. You will work with our online platforms, support internal

development teams, and maintain our state-of-the-art content creation labs. This is your

chance to shape the future of immersive entertainment technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Help create and maintain online self-service support and training resources

  • Help moderate and answer questions on the professional support forums

  • Test and troubleshoot Dolby Atmos hardware and software solutions

  • Assist with internal product testing

  • Assist with lab maintenance and equipment/software configuration

  • Work with internal Dolby teams on Dolby content creation knowledge, resources, and

support

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in audio engineering, music production,

filmmaking, or a related field.

  • Passionate about audio and video production

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Familiar with at least one of, ideally multiple: Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton, Nuendo, Cubase

Resolve

  • Knowledge of Dolby Atmos and immersive audio a plus

  • Knowledge of Dolby Vision and HDR video a plus

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology

ELIGIBILITY

Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in audio engineering, music production,

filmmaking, or a related field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also

eligible to apply. Must be available to work full-time Monday - Friday for 6 months between

September 2024 - March 2025.

Start date for the internship is as follows: (note this date is not flexible)

  • Monday, September 23, 2024

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $32-44/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
