The Capital of Annapolis, Md., seeks an energetic and creative leader to

join our staff as a entertainment and lifestyles content editor as we rebuild our newsroom. This

editor would coordinate entertainment, lifestyles and food coverage for and weekly print sections. A candidate for this

position should be an innovator, suggesting different ways to tell stories

and engage audiences.


  • Coordinate daily and ongoing entertainment and lifestyles coverage for

Anne Arundel County.

  • Plan and assigns stories, photos/videos that are suitable for

centerpieces for the website and print edition.

  • Oversee staff and freelance entertainment and lifestyles reporters.

  • Work with other editors and audience team to find different story forms

to lifestyles and entertainment content.

  • Serve as liaison for Capital Style editor and assists in content creation

for this publication. Capital Style is a glossy magazine thats produced

four times a year.

  • Coordinate production of yearly Guide to Anne Arundel County.

  • Assist with social promotion of content in concert with our audience team.

  • Update feature collections on website working in concert with audience



  • At least four years of digital experience editing and producing content

  • Some management experience that includes a collegial and encouraging

management style.

  • Solid journalistic credentials with comprehensive knowledge of media law

including copyright, libel, two-party consent, privacy, and fair use

questions, in addition to a highly developed sense of ethics

Position Description: Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to support a software development team. The candidate should have an understanding of SIGINT and Agile development. While general user-facing tech-writing assignments may be given, the candidate will focus on Configuration guides, API documentation, and other writing tasks related to configuring and maintaining software applications. They will work closely with the development teams, assisting with the creation, maintenance and delivery of requested materials. The position is located in Annapolis Junction, MD Basic Qualifications: Minimum Education / Experience: 10 Years with Bachelors; 8 Year with Masters Must have knowledge of SIGINT software development within a DOD environment. * Must have experience writing technical documentation for highly-technical people. * Must have experience preparing documentation in Confluence or in a Wiki environment. * Must have the ability to absorb and learn technical material quickly. Experience in the generation of technical documentation relating to Intelligence Community/DoD electronic equipment and systems; * Experience in technical writing based on engineering drawings, technical information from engineering documentation, consultations with engineers and subject matter experts, and other available sources; * Experience the production of defense acquisition documentation, user manuals, training manuals, and other documentation utilized by the end-user community of DoD electronic equipment and systems; * Experience with technical manual standards NSA DS-83 and NSA DS-89.
