Content Analyst

What will I be doing?

The Content Analyst performs testing, analysis, and loading tasks in support of timely and accurate content ingestion for a global content management system.

In this position, you will also...

  • Review and process production files supplied by content providers to ensure data quality and timely ingestion into global content management system.

  • Analyze, test, and promote new files providing feedback to data supplier.

  • Reconcile any questionable data content and format and communicate the correct requirements to the publisher.

  • Recognize and recommend future training guidelines when needed.

  • Prepare and maintain stats for timely reporting as needed.

  • Reconcile data provider hierarchies to ensure accurate and timely content ingest.

  • Identify system inefficiencies and/or error states and create stories for remediation development

  • Work on special projects as required in support of business needs.

Qualified Candidates must have

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Ability to analyze data for trends and errors.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate in a team environment as well as work independently.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, with expertise in Excel.

Superstar Candidates will ALSO have

  • Experience with/knowledge of ProQuest products and systems.

  • Fluency in a language other than English

  • This position is based in ProQuest's New Providence, NJ office location and is typically not conducive to remote work.

  • This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
