Content & Communication Specialist

The Content & Communication Specialist has a strong focus on all CentralSquare marketing content and will be instrumental in aligning our brand messaging across all platforms. The Content & Communication Specialist will be the primary copywriter across the Marketing team and will be comfortable in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and results-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Create marketing communication including digital campaigns, website, social media, product/sales collateral, customer success stories, and more

  • Review, edit, and proof content across all platforms ensuring consistency in brand, messaging, and tone

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Sales leadership to craft and hone language across a variety of contexts, ensuring end-to-end brand consistency

  • Support internal and customer communication initiatives as needed

  • Use and apply corporate brand book for appropriate voice, tone, and personality

  • Participate in planning and creation of marketing content in support of programs and campaigns

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or related field

  • Exceptional copywriting skills

  • Understanding of internal and external communications

  • Ability to take messaging guidelines and convert to brand copy, style, and language

  • 3-5 years of copywriting experience

  • Strong computer skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, and online publishing tools

  • Strong understanding of digital web platforms/principles

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and collaborate cross-functionally

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Excellent time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CMS, CRM, and Marketing Automation Platform is a plus

  • Experience with project management tools

Pearson Content and Assessment Specialists use their subject matter expertise to thoughtfully engage students in real world assessment of content. * Develop and review social studies test items, including multiple choice, technology enhanced, extended response, cluster sets, and performance-based tasks across multiple grade levels for large-scale assessments * Help develop item and test specifications, item development plans, test blueprints, and other ancillary documents * Help select, assign, manage, and train item/stimuli writers and educators to develop items based on standards, cognitive complexity, and item development best practices * Facilitate and support customer meetings and provide social studies assessment expertise * Facilitate activities related to test construction and review of composed test forms * Consult with the customer as required, including participation in planning, status, review meetings, etc. * Work closely with test development managers, other content developers, psychometricians, and other Pearson groups * Perform other duties as assigned * Some travel required The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is at least 65k.
