About the Role
We're looking for a Weekend Content and Community Manager to join Media.Monks' Audience Engagement team. (This role runs Thursday
This role functions Thursday
Responsibilities:
Governance & Publishing (50%)
Review incoming social content requests from marketing teams, provide feedback based on the rubric and help marketers move through the approval process to final approval
Uploading and trafficking paid social assets to social channels, coordinating with media agency to QA/traffic the ads and report performance
Publishing organic short form and long form videos to YouTube & TikTok channels in addition to community engagement posts
Basic post production (creating .SRT files, adding captions, light editing, metadata) for short and long form video to optimize the content across platforms
Tagging all videos in Sprinklr for measurement and reporting
Community Management (50%)
Monitor and research consumer & platform conversations, peer brands, industry trends and engage with user-generated content (UGC) and comments in a way that aligns with brand voice and values.
Implement social media community management tactics & best practices when engaging with users across Google channels.
Help define and maintain the community management strategy, including methods for engagements, moderation policies, content building, and outreach initiatives.
Monitoring posts across all social platforms and identifying engagement opportunities.
Writing copy for text, image, and video content.
Flagging and escalating comments, replies, or mentions that fall outside of brand guidelines.
Social listening and finding proactive engagement opportunities from users mentioning the brand.
Offering suggestions and direction based on social listening and proactive engagements.
Participating in team brainstorming meetings and fostering idea generation.
Work on content calendars and make them come true, including the timely publishing of social media posts.
Coordinate with Marketing, PR, and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency.
Work closely with data strategists to provide monthly and quarterly reports and optimization opportunities.
Work collaboratively with social strategy, account management, and creatives to ensure social media channels are on brand at all times.
Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends.
Analyze the daily social conversation both in general and around the brand.
About You
The essentials:
3-5 years of experience in social media/channel management, community management, social copywriting or a related field for brands/products
Platform expertise: Deep understanding of TikTok & YouTube, including best practices, formats & engagement tactics
Organizational skills to organize and publish high volume of content & CM, with high quality results
Collaborative and able to work well x-functionally
Deep understanding of social media platforms and creative best practices and formats
Experience with Sprinklr and native publishing to social media platforms
