Must be flexible to work overtime as required.
You can look forward to using your expertise in this manner: Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs and requisitions new parts.
Performs all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs). Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns.
Conducts safety checks on vehicles.
Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
Assists senior Mechanics in the completion of project work.
Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards, and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Education and Experience Education:
Not required.
Experience: Two (2) years of repair (hydraulic & electrical) experience Travel MUST be flexible to travel for training for two weeks at the WM Florida Training Center within your first 30 to 60 days of employment.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements Valid drivers license and must have a clean driving record.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
If a CDL is a requirement for a specific posting, an applicant must be 21 years of age.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle record review.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities depending upon area of assignment including performing basic trade activities such as electrical,plumbing and carpentry work. Performs minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment. Repairs electrical equipment/systems and control circuits; and replaces faulty electrical equipment as needed. This troubleshooting element is inclusive ofThree Phase Motors,.Must have a strong understanding of NFPA 70E standards and be capable of applying these standards in the work situation.Installs electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services; and replaces and repairs wiring as needed (including computer cable). Consults with Maintenance Manager, as needed, on electrical system issues; and,as assigned, serves in a project coordination role monitoring theactivities of outside contractors.Maintains and repairs a variety of hand and power tools ensuing they are safe and in efficient working order.Performs preventive maintenance procedures on mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels,replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts. May operate a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems. Calibrates and repairs pneumatic systems and other mechanical systems on production equipment to assure optimum performance of that production process.
