Train all Contact Center associates to handle each customer, in a professional, courteous, efficient and friendly manner, using applicable systems and resources.
Train order entry, customer service, email, online chat and furniture programs to Contact Center associates.
Maintain database of all training sessions completed by associates.
Coordinate on-site vendor training sessions and development opportunities.
Facilitate orientation for Contact Center new hires.
Assist in training various programs to Contact Center associates.
Answer all incoming contacts, phone, email, online chat, fax or letter, promptly and cheerfully.
Maintain an awareness of all product information, intranet communications, and current advertising and marketing initiatives and possess an understanding of how they affect sales and customer service.
Create and update training resource materials and programs, as needed.
Possess a complete understanding of applicable company systems, policies and procedures.
Possess a complete understanding of training and communication resources relevant to the position.
Participate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position.
Basic arithmetic, excellent organizational skills
excellent telephone presence, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent data entry skills.
Previous Experience Minimum 1 year of Contact Center, Crate and Barrel or CB2 store experience
Required Learning Assigned Learning Plan(s) per position Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software General office equipment, including computer and printer, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Paint), company email system, Contact Center Sales (CCS) system, telephone, copier, fax machine, calculator, Visio software Certifications and/or Degrees
High school diploma/GED or equivalent
Full-Time Flexible to work evenings/weekend days
Ability to travel to Morton Grove, IL to conduct training as needed
Excellent reading and written language skills (English)
