Days: Monday through Friday

Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Pleasant voice and professional manner required

  • One year previous experience in customer service or telemarketing position preferred

  • Flexibility to work unscheduled or long hours in response to a crisis or special blood needs

  • Ability to effectively communicate to the public over the phone

Primary Responsibilities:

Make telephone calls. Make follow-up and reminder calls.

Record information in a neat, accurate and timely manner. Customer Service Representative III agent's are trained to call, schedule and convert donors to apheresis red cell, AFFP and Platelets donors. Consistently maintain a high level of customer service toward blood donors through pleasant attitude and appropriate follow-up on donor concerns and requests.

Record outcome of donor contacts on schedule sheets or in the computer. Maintain confidentiality with regard to all medical and other private donor, client, and business information. Maintain and update donor files through accurate data entry.

Route medical questions, which you are unable to answer or address, to the Nursing staff. Maintain a high standard of integrity and confidence in all communication with donors. Comply with all applicable compliance and safety directives and regulations.

Support clerical assignments as required. Assist in the training of paid and volunteer staff when needed. Be enthusiastic and active in support of the department's mission to ensure a safe and adequate supply of blood. Be an ambassador for OBI.

Under the direction of the Store Manager or Remodel Staff Team Lead, you will participate in the store set up, execution and timely completion of the remodel and/or renovation. This is a temporary assignment. Principle Duties & Responsibilities: * Provides great customer engagement in positive and approachable manner. * Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience. * At the direction of the Store Manager or Remodel Staff Team Lead, builds fixtures and stocks merchandise. * Assists in unloading of merchandise from delivery truck, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from stockroom to sales floor. * Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store. * At the direction of the Store Manager or Remodel Staff Team Lead, assists in building a clean, well-stocked store for customers. * Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment. * Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation. Position Requirements: Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent. Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. Experience: Prefer some experience working with people and general public; Work in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environment is preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs.
