Work in a global cross-functional team with engineering, operations, finance, public relations, and marketing communications through the complete product development cycle
Drive the definition of broad, complex, and high impact products for worldwide markets, assisting in the development of the product line strategy
Evaluate new technologies to pursue in future products
Collect global customer, developer, and partner requirements for future product development
Balance tradeoffs involving features, schedule, cost, line positioning, and lifecycle management
Possess deep knowledge of complementary and competitive 3rd-party products
Closely follow emerging technology, consumer, and societal trends and make recommendations for how products fit into those emerging trends
Communicate and position the product in relation to other products and the competition
Define product positioning and key product messages
Work with marketing communications and PR to develop product launch activities and marketing materials
Travel the world as the ambassador for your product attending trade shows, customer visits, and press briefings
Apple is looking for a highly motivated Product Marketing Manager to join the Worldwide Product Marketing team. As a Consumer Video Apps Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for defining new features that will shape the future of video creation. This includes working both inbound and outbound to drive the development, introduction, maintenance, and/or obsolescence of features and technologies.
BS/BA degree, MS/MA/MBA preferred
