The Consumer Sales Manager will directly oversee the Berks, Lebanon, and Capital Markets within Central PA.

The Consumer Sales Manager will be responsible for the leadership and overall performance of an assigned Market(s). Will have direct accountability for Financial Center Managers to ensure Market and Financial Center growth goals and all financial objectives are met while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Collaborates with other Sales Managers, both Commercial and Consumer, as well as, Fulton Financial Corporation Partners to achieve common goals and objectives.

Responsible for coaching and mentoring Financial Center Managers by identifying performance gaps and implementing plans to improve individual and team performance. Balances their time with the Financial Centers within their own market. May directly oversee a market(s) consisting of 12-20 Financial Centers.


  • Utilizes Fulton Financial Corporation's sales management process to set objectives, sales goals, create action plans and monitor progress. Accountable for the achievement of overall market goals.

    Sets high goals for personal and group accomplishment commensurate with market opportunity; using measurement methods to monitor progress toward goals. Evaluates business opportunities and establishes challenging goals for self and others designed to achieve exceptional business results. Actively participates in developing ideas for sales initiatives and sales programs.

    Leverage and collaborate with key business partners including; Commercial, Fulton Financial Corporation Partners, Segment Managers, Sales Enablement, Human Resources and Marketing. Serves as a member of Market Leadership and assists in business plan preparation and budgeting. Oversee, develop, and manage, as required, external relationships in the market.

    Prioritizes, manages, and communicates promotional campaigns and initiatives. Drives and demonstrates ownership in market's success.

  • Recruits, hires and retains the most qualified employees to ensure a diverse workforce. Drives results through the development and retention of high performing teams through leadership and coaching.

    Utilize the coaching and feedback models, performance management and the guiding values of the Fulton Experience to reinforce expected behaviors and goal achievement of Financial Center Managers and their respective teams. Collaboratively establishes performance expectations and development plans. Works with Financial Center Managers to identify areas for development, understand need for improvement, and set specific development goals and developmental activities. Ensures common and consistent communication messages that support the strategic goals of the Bank and leads the team through organizational change.

  • Partners with Consumer Operations Specialist to ensure Financial Center's compliance with operational and security policies and procedures and all risk management elements as defined by management. Responsible for all credit approvals commensurate with lending authority within the market to ensure proper adherence and support of credit policies and overall credit culture.

    Actively coaches and develops direct reports on more complex credit issues. Serve as escalation point for market issues that impact the business.



Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. (Required)


5 or more years sales management experience. (Required)

5 or more years retail banking experience. (Required)

We are seeking a responsible and hard-working Assistant Manager to join our growing team of professionals. The Retail Assistant Manager is primarily focused on supervising store personnel in all store activities and maintaining store policy and procedures under the supervision of Store Management. The Assistant Manager will report directly to the Management team. A big part of your role as a Retail Assistant Manager will be to measure female consumers to determine the proper fit for bras and various other undergarments and intimate apparel in the privacy of the women's fitting room on a regular basis. The Retail Assistant Manager will also be responsible for the operation and merchandising of the store in the absence of the Store Manager. Other responsibilities for the Retail Assistant Manager include: * Budget control, shrink, overall operation and merchandise presentation within the store. * Taking semi-annual physical inventory. * Ensuring that all merchandise is displayed and merchandised properly. * Keeping Merchandise Supervisor informed of out-of-stock, slow sellers and problem merchandise. * Assisting in planning of store payroll and financial budget. * Maintaining accurate records and controlling expenses to achieve budget objectives while ensuring adequate staffing. * Recruiting, selecting and training store staff. * Assisting on the sales floor as needed, including cashiering and waiting on customers. Minimum Education and Experience Required: In order to be considered for the Retail Assistant Manager position, you need a high school degree/GED or a combination of education and retail management experience. College degree is preferred. The Retail Assistant Manager must also have Assistant Management experience in specialty retail (apparel or women's intimate apparel is preferred).
