About the Role
Establishes loan files and orders documentation required to process loans. Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all loan documentation.
Processes consumer loan files after closings to ensure that documents are recorded with proper recording authority and the loans are entered correctly into company records. Inputs loan documents into LaserPro, processes loan payoffs and maintains loan files. Ensures all Consumer Loan files are scanned to Synergy within 30 days of loan closing.
Provides general administrative support for the loan department. Continues to provide Customer Service in an ongoing basis. Performs account transaction while providing outstanding service. Promotes increased customer use of bank products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide loan support for Consumer Lenders. Creates and check Laser Pro documents, disburse funds, process consumer loans, handle correspondence.
Follow up on various items including insurance liens, etc. Process consumer loan payments, process telephone transfers and payoffs on titled and unsecured loans.
Prepare documents as authorized by lending officers to properly secure different types of loans and extensions. Prepare documents for new, renewed and extended loans.
Prepare all collateral documents, changes of collateral, transfers of equity, lien filings, and deeds of trust and updates files and records of customers. Prepare loan file with all appropriate documentation. Track all required information needed to complete loan files.
Review loan applications and order reports necessary to process loans such as title insurance, valuations, flood certifications, etc. Assist in closing loans as necessary.
Provide administrative support for loan department by responding to routine inquires for consumer loan account balances and payoff amounts. Maintain files for the loan department.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Up to six months of similar or related experience including time spent in preparatory positions.
High school degree or GED required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, using considerable tact, diplomacy, and judgment.
Able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Advanced administrative and analytical skills.
Highly self motivated and directed.
Keen attention to detail.
Thorough knowledge of various office software. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Email and Calendaring.
Monitor, analyze and apply compliance rules, regulations and procedures.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary.
Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
