The Consumer Loan Operations Trainee will require training and experience in order to demonstrate a general understanding of the job duties listed herein and may need additional training and experience to become proficient to perform all the duties listed herein under general supervision. The Consumer Loan Operations Trainee is responsible for complying with all LFCU policies and standards as well as achieving individual and departmental goals. All job duties must be performed in a prompt, accurate and efficient manner. Provides the highest level of service to internal customers, co-workers and members and consistently demonstrates tact and courtesy.

Note: An employee shall not be held in this classification for a period of longer than twenty-four months. However, the Credit Union shall have the right to upgrade prior to the expiration of twelve months if the employee is deemed qualified for such upgrading.

Performs Such Typical Distinguishing Duties As:

  • Guarantee of Titles May review requests faxed to Lockheed Federal Credit Union by Insurance Companies for a guarantee of title upon receipt of a specified dollar figure. Signs requests and faxes it back to the Insurance Company if loan qualifies. Notifies member of deficiency balance and makes notation in loan history. (May be moved to related duties after completion business process analysis)

  • Loan Payoffs May post payoffs from dealers, other institutions, insurance companies, and members on system.

  • After the loan ID is created, performs the activities provided for in the most current, Consumer Loan Department VISA Funding, Employee Vehicle Loan Funding and Work-out Loan Funding desktop procedures.

  • Transferring Loans May perform loan maintenance on exception items not automated by Loan Transfer specfile. May transfer existing loans on system from one account to another per member request.

  • Loan Ops Box May review requests emailed to the Loan Ops email box and processes them. The requests may include changing due dates on existing loans, removing/setting up autopay, releasing titles, etc.

  • DMV May process DMV paperwork up to 90 days post funding received in the department. (except for off premises personal appearances at DMV problem solving, troubleshooting, or research purposes).

  • Release of Titles May process releases electronically on the Title System when members or a third party have paid off a vehicle loans.

  • Balancing May run a tape on all checks received by the department and ensures it is in balance with the department totals. Delivers checks to specified department and completes check logs totals

  • Department Balancing May run a department total for Cost Center and bundle with Loan Operations employee's balancing sheets and work.

  • Out-of-Country Letters Requests by Phone (not through a branch) May review requests from members to take their vehicle out of the country. Prepares a notarized letter for the member if registration, proof of insurance, and the Member Profile Information is provided.

  • V.R. May run inquiries on vehicle license plates or Vehicle Identification Numbers using the CVR System.

  • Miscellaneous Requests May process requests as received, for example, report processing, new dealer ID creation.

  • Backing out loans May manually remove loans/leases from the system account using the appropriate transaction codes and documents the reason for voiding the loan/lease.

  • Verifies loan documents forwarded from the Consumer Loan Officer.

  • Answers hot line within minimum requirement.

  • Identifies and refers potential sales and service opportunities while performing duties as described under job description typical distinguishing and/or related duties. Responsible for maintaining optimal levels of individual performance and accomplishment which support LESI in achieving its financial, sales and service goals.

  • Responsible for achieving assigned goals and standards for individual and team performance. Identifies and refers sales and/or service opportunities by cross-selling products and services offered by LESI.

  • Supports branch or department's member retention and sales efforts by cross-selling products and services offered by LESI.

  • Responsible for performing activities in support of internal and external sales, service and business development activities as directed by management.

  • As appropriate to branch or department activities, performs or provides support in completing appropriate sales tracking and recording logs and reports in a timely, accurate and responsible manner.

  • When in contact with members or prospective members, determine needs and identify sales and/or service opportunities; cross-sell products and/or services offered by LESI.

  • Maintain ability to present LESI's products and services.

  • Must consistently report to work on time, as scheduled.

Performs Such Related Duties As:

  • Performs miscellaneous clerical duties as required.

  • May complete title follow-up for vehicle loans.

  • May provide vehicle valuations including Blue Book as required.

  • May contact insurance companies as required.

  • May be required to open non-member accounts when manually required.

  • Out-of-Country Letters May review requests from members to take their vehicle out of the country. Prepares a notarized letter for the member if registration, proof of insurance, and the Member Profile Information is provided

  • May assist with lease termination processing and related job duties.

  • May perform other duties when assigned.

Required Job Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year financial experience or equivalent knowledge preferred.

  • Must possess the ability to operate a PC in a Windows environment, basic knowledge of MSWord and Outlook, the ability to learn in-house and vendor owned systems and the ability to use general office equipment

  • Must have working knowledge of credit union documents, reports, policies and procedures.

  • Must be flexible and have the ability to conform to constant system/software changes and possess excellent phone manners and technique.

  • Must be accurate and reliable and have the ability to work in a heavy production and teamwork environment and meet production goals.

This team is a highly visible department that plays an integral part in key business decisions across the Studio organization and the company. The position will oversee teams responsible for audience insights, loyalty program analytics, data governance and first party data platform development and analytics. This role will solve business challenges and enable the organization to make data driven decisions through advanced analytics and modeling solutions. Responsibilities: * Responsible for leading the Studio's long-term consumer data strategy and data driven culture, including first party data aggregation and optimization, loyalty member and audience analytics and scientific modeling for various lines of business including marketing science, distribution, and digital marketing * Subject matter expert for the studio on all data science needs including advanced analytics and complex predictive modeling and algorithms, responsible for prioritizing efforts with partners across the company - managing decision scientists efforts * Lead and implement the strategy and roadmap for data tools and platforms in collaboration with the studio technology data services and product teams as well as coordinating efforts across the company * Identify areas of opportunity and lead team focused on new technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and computer vision to improve how we do business * Lead a data science team to solve business problems and advance strategic studio goals by leveraging consumer data across the company * Work closely with key business stakeholders to develop a data strategy that is consistent with the needs of a quickly changing industry * Develop a strategy for measuring effectiveness of tools and be an advocate for socializing key data initiatives * Work with team to define requirements across product, data, and engineering to craft a suite of data tools and projects—including tracking specs, data processing engines, experimentation framework and platform, machine learning platforms, predictive modeling and data visualization and dashboard tools * Uncover the needs of internal customer groups—including executives, CRM Team and business intelligence and analytics teams—and couple them with intuitive and actionable data solutions such as deriving business critical KPIs for future growth * Lead team focused on creating business specific predictive models to measure third party programs that impact our business such as subscription moviegoing and various pricing strategies of the Studios filmed entertainment * Be subject matter expert in all things consumer data and how data is activated for distribution and marketing across theatrical and in-home businesses Basic Qualifications: * 10+ years of industry experience in data related fields, including data science, data strategy and data product management * 5+ years' experience working with data science and advanced analytics teams, shaping strategies and delivering proven results * Experience providing data science support to marketing strategies including media mix modeling, multi-touch attribution modeling, segmentation and media targeting * 5+ years managing people/team * Expertise in predictive modeling and analysis, algorithm development, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization solutions * Experience with data science and analytics tools (e.g., DataBricks, SQL, R, Python) and data visualization (e.g., Tableau, MicroStrategy) * Experience partnering with cross-functional teams like engineering and analytics to define, build, and maintain products which are essential to growth, engagement, and retention * Knowledge of consumer data platforms (CDP) and best practices coordination of data governance and taxonomy across large enterprises * Experience manipulating large data sets focusing efforts of the team on the most critical problems being introduced by our business stakeholders * Experience working with media and marketing science teams to develop best-in-class tools for audience segmentation, media targeting and re-targeting and attribution models to measure effectiveness of applied methodologies * Familiarity with core statistical concepts, including hypothesis testing, the design of experiments, and confidence intervals Required Education * Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, MIS, Information Management, Business Analytics Preferred Education * MBA preferred About The Walt Disney Studios: For over 90 years, The Walt Disney Studios has been the foundation on which The Walt Disney Company was built.
