Our awesome client in Santa Clara is looking for an amazing Consumer Insights Manager!

Key Responsibilities: : Provide support for growing business in helping students find jobs : Deeply analyze brand tracker information for insights to help marketing, strategy, and business partners, as well as to support investor narratives : Communicate findings in a way that drives action and internalization of findings at all levels of the organization : Work with our communications department to create compelling original data to directly promote authority on student issues : Provide expert input and guidance across all consumer insights projects, collaborating with other teammates to ensure our team delivers the highest quality studies : Work closely with the user research team in sharing insights across common topics, and to push student-first thinking in our products : In addition to managing, be able to "get your hands dirty" directly conducting research: : Moderating qualitative discussions (Usertesting.com) : Survey programming (Qualtrics) : Data and statistical analyses (Qualtrics, Excel) : Quality assurance checks : Charting and deck creation (Google docs, PowerPoint) : Google/eMarketer searches for specific data points or background information

Qualifications:
: 10+ years of consumer insights experience, preferably with experience in : online services, : educational technology, : online job/career search, : employers/HR/small business : and/or mobile applications.
: MBA or Advanced degree preferred, with an emphasis on behavioral or quantitative research (eg-Psychology, Social Science, Information Science, Operations Research, marketing science or related field.) : Excellent organization and prioritization skills : Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and collaboratively, in an atmosphere of multiple projects and teams.
: Exceptional communication skills - in all modes, email, presentations, face to face, meetings, etc.
: Excellent deck creation skills, with emphasis on building a compelling narrative : Strong analytical skills and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
: Proven track record in quality assurance and data analysis : Hands-on experience with well-known survey and market research tools such as Qualtrics, UserTesting and Survey Monkey a strong plus : Statistical knowledge and experience with Excel, SPSS, R, SAS or other related statistical packages Are you available?

The role requires a self-starter who's collaborative, creative and passionate about the success of our company. This person must be graceful under pressure working with both executives and peers, and be considered a strategic communications counselor in any situation. Responsibilities (what you'll be doing): * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our tools (Edelman Intelligence), platforms, and research methodologies. * Understand the role of research within business decision-making, PR, and communications marketing. * Effectively guide work managed by others and communicate with team members, sharing project timelines and communications that impact research execution. * Conduct research according to scope, timeline, and objectives, including analysis of data up to and including initial creation of key findings and report drafts, as well as fact-checking of reports. * Balance ongoing and project-specific deadlines and commitments with real-time requests and quick-turn research needs. * Partner with the comms head of operations and international comms manager to ensure alignment in global reporting. * Be an amazing administrator, skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously and working well under pressure. * Ability to deal with last minute creative direction and multiple rounds of edits. * Visual problem solving - deconstructing complex information to simplify and abstract for easier audience digestion. * Adept at shifting a concept between the whiteboard to Google Slides. * You own the process of design from concept to completion and implement presentation standards that reflect the Salesforce brand.
