The Consumer Digital Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Consumer Digital Banking including processes, support, service and reporting. This position will also manage the Online Account Opening channel, a new initiative for our company to drive sales and attract customers.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement operational expertise to support all digital platforms and channels

  • Be proficient in digital processes and systems including Online, Mobile, Payments and ATMs

  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies to help all digital teams work more efficiently including testing plan and service efforts

  • Manage the bank's Online Account Opening channel including:

  • Following all processes and procedures related to products, reviews, approvals and declines

  • Manage support for the Online Account Opening channel

o Analysis of application process to improve completions, service time, reduce abandonments

o Partner with cross functional teams on key initiatives directly impacting customer experience and/or tools to enhance efficiency and productivity of online account process

o Recommend procedure/policy changes needed to avoid/reduce future new account issues

o Serve as point of contact for branch and call center support for digital services

o Maintain partnerships with various lines of business that support and serve digital customers

  • Manage and track incoming customer complaints and feedback for enhancement and improvement opportunities

  • Robust reporting of consumer digital channels to track and trend activity, usage and results

  • Maintain vendor relationships with key partners to include regular meetings, support cases, budget and service expectations

  • Navigate multiple systems to professionally perform service tasks with a high degree of accuracy

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all bank products and services including pricing, bank policies and government regulations

  • Tackle multiple projects, aggressive deadlines, competing priorities and a broad stakeholder audience

  • Perform all job functions in the delivery of efficient, accurate and professional service that defines great customer experience

  • Day-to-Day troubleshooting, research and implementation of new enhancements and upgrades

COMPETENCIES:

  • 4 year degree preferred but not required; Management experience required

  • Minimum 3-5 years previous experience in banking, with Retail Operations and/or new account processes preferred

  • Understanding of online banking products including payments, ATM and core digital online banking functions required

  • Broad knowledge of banking operations including products, services and compliance

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Project Management skills

  • Critical and strategic thinking

  • Ability to multi-task and meet designated deadlines

  • Strong organization skills

  • Knowledge:
    Strong computer literacy and proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook as a minimum.

Documentation includes policies, programs, procedures, and/or workflows supporting the Framework and/or the functions of the ERM Department. Documentation also includes other management reports or data reported to or collected by ERM on regular basis. * Maintain an active working knowledge of SSB's ERM Program and maintain automated tools (including the Archer system) to support and enhance the program's effectiveness in the company. * Administer and manage the Archer GRC software tool, including, the evaluation and coordination of software updates (releases, patches, etc.); the evaluation and support of software expansion (new solutions, applications, etc.); modification of existing structures, applications, fields, and/or configurations to support the use and maturation of the product within SSB. * Working with the Director of ERM and other Risk Management personnel, develop and modify reports, iviews, dashboards, etc. within the Archer system to support the analysis, monitoring, and reporting of enterprise risk for SSB. * Maintain a sufficient and adequate internal control environment over the use and deployment of the Archer system to provide for the reliability and integrity of reported results. The internal control environment includes, but is not limited to, access control, data integrity, back-up and recovery, etc. * Coordinate the delivery and maintenance of supporting Archer reference materials, user manuals, and training to support the use of the system within SSB. * Develop and chair an Archer user group to facilitate and enhance the use of the system within SSB. * Collect and facilitate the preparation of meeting materials for the Operational Risk Committee, Management Risk Committee, and Board Risk Committee * Act as secretary of the Operational Risk Committee and such other committees as may be determined, from time to time, by the Director of ERM and/or the Chief Risk Officer (CRO). * Develop and/or coordinate the development of other (non-Archer) based risk management reports as may be determined by the Director of ERM and/or CRO. * Coordinate and/or support the ERM Department's fulfillment of corporate programs such as BCP/DR, Strategic Planning, Life Safety, Profit Planning (budgeting), etc. * Coordinate administrative support for the ERM Department and the CRO. OTHER DUTIES * Accepts other duties as assigned. COMPETENCIES * General banking knowledge * Working knowledge of risk management principles and concepts * Risk Management and/or Internal Audit experience. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS * Education: Bachelor of Arts or Science in Finance/Accounting, Business, or related field. * Experience: 10+ years of banking experience with previous Risk Management and/or Internal Audit experience. Prior management and/or supervisory experience required. Archer GRC experience preferred. * Knowledge: Good interpersonal skills, good computer skills, ability to read, write, speak and understand English TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES Required annual compliance training. 40 hours of risk based annual training RECOMMENDED ADDITIONAL TRAINING New Employee Orientation SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY This position has supervisory responsibilities.
