The Consumer Change Communications Specialist will serve as the primary contact for coordinating collateral updates as well as ad hoc direct mail content support for OptumRx Consumer Marketing. You'll be responsible for ensuring content and creative work aligns with overall business goals and objectives. We're looking for a strong project manager and content editor with experience in managing multiple, concurrent projects and demonstrated ability to understand complex processes and ask insightful questions for defining communication requirements. In this role, you'll be part of transforming our engagement strategy for formulary, network, and drug recall outreach, creating partnerships with consumers to manage change and empower proactive navigation.
Manage ad hoc mailing and collateral projects, including interfacing with requestors, modifying creative, and accounting for data-driven variability
Develop project calendars and manage to deadlines
Manage creative build and various rounds of revisions
Translate objectives in a well-articulated creative brief and provide clear and easy-to-understand creative direction to creative partners
Creative concept and message development based on requests from multiple internal stakeholders
Ability to receive/interpret/provide direction and feedback to manage the various rounds of revisions among internal stakeholders and agency partners
Follow the creative development process, including full marketing communication review, package up and route to stakeholders and finalize all approvals and feedback
Manage individual creative / project spend, including estimates and agency invoicing and tracking
Translate objectives into actionable, tactical work
Provide ad hoc input on specialized communications issues
Serve as a liaison to identify/align communications efforts across organizational lines
Bachelor's degree (or higher)
2 years of marketing or communications experience with a matrix organization
2 years of copywriting or content editing experience
2 years of project management or project support experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Word (create/edit documents), Excel (create/edit spreadsheets), PowerPoint (create/edit presentations), Outlook (send emails and schedule meetings)
Experience in pharmacy benefit management (PBM) or pharmacy care services industry
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in marketing, communications, business, journalism or English
Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity; self-starter
Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and effectively establish priorities
Proven ability to influence cross functional teams
