We have an immediate opening for a Consumer Care Representative based out of our Chambersburg, PA location.
What contribution will I make to Helen of Troy?
As a Consumer Care Representative, you will support our Housewares division. Serving as the first point of contact for our consumers, you will deliver excellent customer service. You will answer inbound phone calls and e-mails to identify and resolve our consumers' needs and provide information about our product line. You will utilize your excellent problem-solving, listening, communication, and customer service skills.
What will I be doing?
Greet consumers in a warm and friendly manner.
Manage inbound calls in a timely manner.
Rapidly learn new product functionality and educate consumers with the products' benefits and features.
Answer consumer inquiries regarding products and service questions; suggest information about other products and services.
Open consumer accounts by recording account information; maintain consumer records by updating account information.
Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems.
Interact with various departments on the consumers' behalf.
Multi-task between different consumer channels.
Make some decisions based on standard practices and procedures.
Receive incoming calls and make outbound calls
Record all calls in detail.
Maintain company standards during recorded calls to ensure high quality service.
What are the requirements for consideration?
High School Diploma or GED.
Strong phone and verbal communication skills.
Strong active listening skills.
Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
Customer focused with adaptability to different personality types.
Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
Strong computer skills.
Ability to deal with angry or frustrated customers.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to be a quick thinker, research, and troubleshoot.
Ability to work one of two shifts: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM EST or 11:00AM to 8:00 PM EST
