Job Description:

Responsible for developing strategies and working with Product, Analytics, Marketing, Channel, Legal, Risk and Finance partners to flawlessly execute behavior-driven digital marketing campaigns that promote engagement among existing consumer credit card customers. A successful incumbent will be able to demonstrate how their influence drove key performance indicators including, but not limited to: account activation and usage, digital adoption, Preferred Rewards enrollment and rewards redemption. Additional responsibilities will include conducting product and portfolio analysis to identify untapped engagement opportunities.

Applicant must have a proven history of: being a self-starter, seeing things through, influencing others, challenging the status quo, being adaptable to change, and demonstrating exceptional communication and analytical skills. Knowledge of credit card marketing, the card product suite, and the card rewards experience, as well as key P&L metrics and drivers is beneficial. Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint is strongly desired.

  • Advanced data manipulation skills using Excel and other data manipulation tools

  • Strong program/project management experience

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Skills:

  • Marketing and/or digital channel experience

  • 5+ years product management experience, ideally in financial services

  • MBA preferred

Responsibilities may include reviewing variances to projections or forecasts for credit losses and loan balance liquidation at the vintage level. Requires pulling and validating data on one's own using advance programming tools. Generating results against risk limits and targets in alignment with a risk appetite, credit policy metrics or strategy governance. Requires interaction with business partners in Credit, Sales, Product, Collections, Servicing, GT&O, Finance, Risk and Compliance to present results and understand issues impacting the business, communication skills must be strong. Reviewing and monitoring loan origination quality for senior management; identifying and analyzing trends based on economic, market and portfolio conditions, recommending credit strategy changes for loan purchase or underwriting as it relates to credit strategies for Auto or RV loans (feedback loop). Ability to deal with data at the element or aggregated level. Responsible for documentation development, including writing system requirements, actively participating in design meetings and guiding credit strategy changes which may include being a part of negotiations for the FLOW channel. Support implementation, testing and training of Credit Strategy changes for Consumer Products. Participate and possibly provide data or analytical input for audits, credit review or government exams. Strong aptitude to interpret numeric trends through a comprehensive understanding of data in consumer lending. Demonstrates resilience for change. Self starter with a results driven mentality. * Role may also be filled by highly qualified Analyst II* Required Skills: * 3+ Years in a Financial Business Setting, Risk Management or Risk/Marketing Analytics type functional role. * Bachelor's degree required and/or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline. * Experience with a programming language such as SQL, SAS. * Expertise in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) or Tableau. * Ability to develop quantitative output using appropriate tools (ex SAS, Xeno, Knowledge Seeker) against numerous large data-sets for identifying and optimizing key business metrics of credit default risk, prepayment risk or collateral recovery risk with a proven ability to interpret results and communicate findings succinctly to senior leadership. * Ability to effectively analyze origination concentrations and trends, optimize profit of new application volume within expected risk tolerances, and proactively identify opportunities to support existing or new business strategies. * Ability to independently manage and defend quantitative analytics with sound documentation of assumptions, limitations, conclusions and recommendations within specified timelines. * Ability to independently drive strategic improvements while adhering to and successfully navigating established governance routines. * Ability to translate analytics into business requirements, complete a comprehensive risk assessment inclusive of multiple partners, and usher that change through system implementation including testing support and procedures development. * Proactive with intellectual curiosity towards the business and data trends.
