The Consumer Banking Advisor will provide an exceptional customer experience through solution-based selling of a full range of Fifth Third banking products and services to existing and potential customers in an inbound and outboundcallcenterenvironment. Helping customers to understand and address their financial needs, the advisor will provide solutions that span across the customer's lifecycle by utilizing our consultative sales and service process.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, andensuresthatactions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.


.Apply knowledge of consumer banking products and financial need assessment tools to create a memorable customer experience and help customers achieve their financial goals

.Use of a consultative approach with current or prospective customers to uncover and identify their needs while tailoring recommendations/solutions

.Maintain a well-developed, working knowledge of products, services, and processes offered

.Work collaboratively with internal partners to ensure customer's needs are met

.Analyze customer credit data and other related financial information to ensure customers are in the appropriate solutions that align with their needs

.Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies, modeling the ethical behavior expected from every employee within the Bancorp

.Other duties as assigned



.High School Diploma/GED and 6 months customer service experience, or college degree or equivalent military experience

.Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with managing customer experience and financial consultation over the phone

.Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in verbal and written communication

.Exhibits business acumen

.Demonstrated ability in making sound decisions

Lead projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Facilitate the identification of gaps and/or weaknesses and drive solutions that mitigate compliance risks and losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. Ensures the active identification, resolution and/or escalation of compliance risks as appropriate. Develops and implements management reporting, as needed. Responsible for staff performance management activities. May influence policies and procedures to minimize regulatory exposure. Accountable for an effective partnership between the lines of business (BLs) and the lines of defense. Essential Duties of Position * Manages a team of RCA Professionals, including: staffing, performance/development management, guidance and training. * Responsible for compliance oversight/guidance for business lines, products and significant bank initiatives. * Maintain an awareness of supervisory enforcement actions, legislative updates, new/amended regulatory requirements, industry trends and banking operations. * Advanced to expert knowledge of key regulatory requirements (Reg. Z/TILA, Reg. DD/TISA, Reg E/EFTA, FCRA, TCPA, SCRA, etc.) impacting BLs supported. * Serves as a valued business partner, trusted advisor and key contact for BL/Risk partners; exercises credible challenge and drives desired outcomes. * Proactively engage with BL partners to identify, assess and mitigate potential risks via comprehensive, actionable and informative assessments. Provide quality control oversight, team workload management and execution of consumer/business banking compliance assessments, including: o Product Risk Management Assessments (PRISM) o Compliance Approval Tool Reviews (CAT) o Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Assessments o Enterprise Compliance Risk Assessments (ECRA) * Issue and complaint management oversight monitoring, trending, and escalation. * Provides guidance and oversight of Corporate Compliance and/or business line training material and incentive plan reviews. * Regulatory Change Management (RCM) oversight, guidance and escalation. * Exam, audit and compliance testing/monitoring support, guidance and oversight. * Works with business lines to establish and maintain appropriate limits related to policies and procedures, control testing/monitoring, and reporting systems to ensure risks are appropriately identified, assessed, mitigated and monitored. * Develops and produces management reporting for assigned compliance functions. * Miscellaneous strategic initiative and project management or support. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience * Ten or more years of experience in an applicable risk management environment * Applicable certifications Preferred Skills/Experience * Advanced degree. Compliance or Audit certifications are preferred. * Advanced to expert knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact assigned line(s) of business. * Advanced understanding of the business lines' operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls. * Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects and people. * Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively communicate complex information to broad audience. Advanced skills at managing stressful situations. * Advanced analytical, problem-solving, relationship and negotiation skills. * Excellent project management and organizational skills, including: planning, prioritization and attention to detail. * Proficient computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office applications.
