The CB Marketing Oversight team maintains a strong and consistent oversight environment of key operational processes, departmental controls, and department-wide initiatives by leveraging employee talents to ensure comprehensive oversight, early operational risk identification and assessment, effective design and evaluation of controls and sustainable solutions to mitigate operational risk within CB Marketing. Job Description

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong project management skills and drive results by doing and being accountable for delivering required results. The candidate should have the ability to work collaboratively with many business partners while maintain strong organization and focus.

They must be self-motivated, self-directed, detail oriented, and are energized and thrive in a fast paced, always changing work environment. In this role, you will be required to adhere and drive process. The candidate will interact with many stakeholders throughout CB Marketing and the CCB organization. Must possess the ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude in difficult situations.

The candidate should have the skills, experience and ability to perform the following responsibilities:

Oversight and Controls

  • Partner with Marketing Oversight team members to develop, drive and lead key departmental oversight projects and initiatives that involve end to end process development and program management. Accurately document key processes and develop supporting procedures and appropriate controls to manage risk. Become a knowledgeable backup to Consumer Bank Marketing Invoicing and JTS process.

Marketing Oversight Management

  • Execute oversight monitoring of key marketing initiatives including, but not limited to, the Marketing Claim Playbook and process. Candidate is required to become well versed in the marketing claim process and execute all supporting activities with accuracy and attention to detail. Provide key insights into developing relevant content material and delivering training marketers.

Marketing Tools

  • Provide marketing tool administrative responsibilities and functionality for the current creative review system of record

  • AdTrax. Execute AdTrax oversight monitoring and key reporting requirements to ensure proper process is being maintained. Provide insights into training materials for marketers.

Regulatory Matrix Management

  • Execute the Disclosure/Disclaimer change process for Consumer Bank Marketing. Effectively partner with Marketing, Legal, Regulatory Review, and Product to understand planned revisions.

    Document revisions in a format that marketers and reviewers can easily follow and utilize. Effectively communicate and document revisions to partners both in written and verbal venues. Provide insights into training materials for marketers.

Accountable to own and manage any assigned controls to help fulfill the marketing department control agenda as required.

Escalate issues quickly and help drive resolution in a solutions focused environment. Report findings and key learning insights to both marketers and management, following-up as necessary until control gaps are remediated.

Create oversight communications to help guide marketers on proper procedural updates to oversight processes. Help build a library of relevant training materials for easy access.

Ensure work is completed on time and that all requirements are executed according to scope.

Accountable for multiple projects, ensuring user adoption. Manage multiple initiatives to completion under rigorous deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment

Contribute to ongoing improvement of internal processes to drive operational efficiencies, and speed to market across projects.

Qualifications

5+ years of marketing/operational experience/ project management experience

Bachelor's degree (preferred) in related areas of job requirements

  • Marketing, Project Management, Risk and Controls, Operations.

Knowledge and understanding of key Marketing operational processes (i.e. creative content development) digital tools/technology, controls, vendor management practices, and process/procedures development.

Ability to effectively utilize tools and system technologies to support a process driven environment.

Ability to react to a triage of situational circumstances and the ability to quickly assess, address and contain issues.

Strong sense of urgency and proven ability and desire to learn and recall information quickly, be flexible and think strategically while applying good common sense and practical solutions.

Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal form, in a manner that is clear, logical and concise, including the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience.

Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in an ever changing environment.

Strong organizational skills including the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in an ever changing environment, prioritize tasks to meet changing demands, and work under deadline constraints.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively to positively contribute and work within a strong team focused environment to achieve results. Ability to lead and influence people at all levels within the department.

Strong user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point applications; ability to document and prepare executive-level presentations.
