Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Specialist in Cincinnati, Ohio and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Provide Oracle software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Work to improve the ability to react in the digital world and enable innovation and scalability, remove performance barriers, modernize core systems, and reimagine their business with Oracle solutions.

Help manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirements planning to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond, helping to link IT programs to organizational goals, while utilizing Oracle modules. Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Assist in developing operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems, sourcing analytical expertise and providing Oracle offerings for continuous insights and improvements.

  • 15% Travel Required Nationally

  • Telecommuting Permitted

  • Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Will accept a bachelor's equivalent based on any combination of education, experience or credentials as determined by a professional evaluation service. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Cloud, Resource Management, Project Contracts, Time and Labor, Grants Management, E-Business Suite (EBS) R12, EBS 11i, and Billing and Cost Management for requirements gathering and planning, architecture, testing, implementing, and deployment to link IT programs to organizational goals;

  • Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models, utilizing Oracle Functional Specification Design documents including MD50 and Unit Test documents including TE.020, An-100, DS-030, MD.020 and BR100 configuration;

  • Providing industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools, including Structured Query Language (SQL) and Oracle Unified Method (OUM);

  • Implementing, upgrading and integrating Oracle Software as a Service (SaaS) packages, including Oracle PPM Cloud, Resource Management, and Project Contracts to transform clients' lifecycle management operations;

  • Utilizing Agile methodology to create user stories, set up Oracle Application, and prepare gap and interface functional specifications;

  • Participating in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for software applications, including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations of urgent issues;

  • Evaluating clients' technology needs, developing customized applications, and drafting technical and functional design documentation, utilizing Oracle Functional Specification Design documents including MD050, and Unit Test documents including TE.020, An-100, DS-030, MD.020, and BR100 configuration; and

  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Management, Project Billing, Time and Labor, Project Control, and Enterprise Contracts Management and third-party engines.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
