Consulting, Solution Architect

Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Architect in Gilbert, Arizona and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Manage information technology projects, including the creation of innovative and transformative solutions that address clients' needs and improve performance by determining the appropriate talent structure and transform their workforce practices in ways that lead to significant savings, a leading edge on competition, and greater efficiency. Manage day-to-day interactions with executive and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients.

Manage information technology project teams that provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Manage aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies for information technology projects. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices.

• 15% Travel required.

• Telecommuting permitted.

• Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each

of the following:

• Participating in the complete project life cycle and project implementation following Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies;

• Participating in teams in full lifecycle of a project, including analysis, design, coding and code review, to maintain the quality of the deliverables and prepare test cases utilizing JUnit and TestNG framework;

• Interacting with client architecture team to enhance the performance of applications by JVM and memory tuning on IBM Web Sphere application servers;

• Defining, building, and implementing programs that enable the success of transformation goals utilizing Infor Workforce Management Tools including WFM 5.0 and 6.0 and features including configuration aspects, registry, parameters and security groups;

• Interacting with Sabre Airport Solutions products to validate the information being exchanged with Infor WFM applications;

• Interfacing with management, business analysts, project managers, developers, and internal customers to understand requirements and make developments according to business requirements;

• Participating as a technical liaison in the design, development, testing, and debugging of new system modules or enhancements to existing application; and

• Developing large-scale applications, leveraging SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, Java, J2EE, Oracle 9i, 10g, and 11g.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
