Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist

Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist in Nashville, Tennessee and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure.

Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

• Utilizing Structured Query Language (SQL), Transact (T)-SQL, and Stored Procedures to perform data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, and interface development;

• Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues utilizing Waterfall, and Agile methodologies, T-SQL, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence;

• Utilizing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Data Transformation Services (DTS) to design and develop data conversion strategies, as well as facilitate mapping and cleansing workshops;

• Converting legacy data according to current system's data structure using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Microsoft (MS) Visual Studio, and the three types of Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs), Daily, History, and Incremental loads;

• Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs);

• Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, and designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing Cloud technology solutions using Azure; and

• Performing application and data migration by architecting frameworks for standardization and automation using SSIS and Microsoft DTS (Data Transformation Services).

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
