Consulting, Senior Solution Manager

Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Solution Manager in Lake Mary, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Oversee the creation of innovative and transformative Cloud-based technology solutions to address clients' next generational needs; create effective IT visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives. Manage service excellence by identifying key issues for key accounts, determining project needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis, and developing recommendations in the context of the overall engagement.

Manage day-today interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Lead the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Help secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities; manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

• 15% Travel required nationally.

• Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field and four (4) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and six (6) years of progressive related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have four (4) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

• Leading Information technology teams across technical, financial and business disciplines, and tracking project progress to ensure milestones are completed on time and on budget;

• Leading stakeholder and communications management processes, including risk and issue escalation and executive reporting;

• Providing technical leadership to project team, performing code reviews, recommending best practices for development and design of quality solutions, reviewing deliverables, scheduling, resolving customer conflicts, and converting the new requirement into successful deliveries;

• Overseeing the planning of engagement scopes, project budgets, staffing, and managing project economics to ensure maximum project profitability;

• Participating in all phases of the SDLC, including requirement gathering and analysis, designing, coding, testing, building, deployment, and supporting the production environment using Mainframe or cloud technologies;

• Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices; and

• Defining processes and tools best suited to each project for healthcare, retail, insurance, and banking industries, selecting agile and waterfall approaches depending on project specifics and client goals, and creating detailed project road maps, plans, schedules and work breakdown structures.
